He is the citycouncilman from District#4.Steve is always veryresponsive to the inquiriesfrompeopleinhisdistrict.Judge Bill Gravel did thehonors of swearing inPresidentHaroldBerghandPresident-Elect Sam Smithas well other officers andBoard members for theRotary year of 2017-2018.Harold begins his duties asPresidentinJuly.For his service to our club,LouGibsonwasgivenacheckto be donated to SpecialFriends.TheEndowmentFundOur Sun City Rotary Clubestablished a PermanentEndowment Fund at ChisolmTrail CommunitiesFoundation in June of 2010with $25,000, the bulk ofwhich was donated byGraham and CarolynHolloway. By the 31st ofMarch, 2017, additionaldonations and fundinvestment earnings hadgrown to $106,290with $95,151 being corpus (donateddollars and $11,139unexpended fund earnings.Fund investments haveearned$31,539ofwhich$20,400hasbeenexpendedbythe
club’s Board to supportnumerous outreach projects.Those knighted last Tuesdayincludemajor contributors tothe Fund’s growth andfinancial committeemanagement.
