“Hi, I’m Erika, and this is my portfolio!”

My portfolio consists of:

I. Personal Statements - Here I have included some of my beliefs about my learning in a reflective way; the Portfolio introduction and my personal reflective essay.

- For the Self-Assessment Documents, I considered not only to write a Letter of self-introduction to my teacher but also an analysis of my personal needs, language goals and interests as an English language student.

II. Academic Work Group projects, individual assignments,

tests, quizzes, and exercises were included in my portfolio.III. Personal SectionThis section contains my achievement and honors that I got for every piece of writing. And my personal interests and talents, like designing new products which is my major at the Catholic University. IV. Portfolio Evaluations I really liked the evaluation section because I did my self-evaluation of the project, my classmates included their comments in the peer evaluation, and finally my teacher shared his points of view about my portfolio.

My profile“Hi, my name’s David. I’m 25 years old and I live in Quito. I study English, and I am in first level”. I decided to include this assignment in my portfolio because I want to share my experience with other students.

After every assignment I also answered some questions that made me think about my learning, like: What did you do to complete this assignment?I used my personal information, from my workbook, student book, dictionaries and also the internet.

What skills did you focus on? I focused on writing, vocabulary and grammar.What did you learn by doing this project?I learned how to write my personal profile. I learned to write using the simple present tense, and to recognize words that were new for me.How does this assignment demonstrate that you have improved your skills or increased

your knowledge about English? Now, I know how to write my personal profile and I decided to include it on my personal WEB site.
