While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27 And when He had

taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; 28 for this is My blood of

the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. 29 But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.” 30 After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

scribes, and they led Him away to their council chamber, saying, 67 “If You are the Christ, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I tell you, you will not

believe; 68 and if I ask a question, you will not answer. 69 But from now on THE SON OF MAN WILL BE

SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND of the power OF GOD.” 70 And they all said, “Are You the Son of God,

then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.”71 Then they said, “What further need do we have of testimony?

For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth.”

Colossian 2:13-15- When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with it’s regulations, that was

against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having

disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them

by the cross.

Heb. 2:11,14-16- Both the one who makes men holy (Jesus) and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call

them brothers…Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who

holds the power of death- that is the devil and free those who all their lives were held in

slavery by their fear of death.
