Technical specifications
• Power supply voltage: 9-36 Vdc • Current: 200 mA• 4 freely-configurable input channels• 4 NC relay outputs• Remote outputs testing • 250m sensor cable/input (max.)• Starting point is extendable (max. 500m) using ‘DC’ (non-sensitive) cable• Radio interference- resistant metal housing (IP65-rated)• Programming via computer (RS485 protocol)• 256 network address, in bus line used• Operating temperature: -40 to +65 C
4 freely-configurable input channels
• Vibration (sensor) cable• Seismic sensor (optional)• Frequency detector (not used)• PIR sensor (not used)
The fence sensor cable operation
Functioning of the system:
Because the cable is physically responsive to the fence to which it is affixed, it senses any abnormal movement/vibration of the fence.
If an intruder attempts to climb the fence , it will move horizontally and vertically, and the sensor cable will detect this movement.
The more sensor cable applied to a given section of fence (depending on its characteristics and condition), the more precise the digital conversion of the received analog signal – that’s why QuadroSense generates fewer false alarms.
Use of an optional, intermediate 'DC' cable between the QuadroSense central unit and the sensor cable permits placement of the sensor cable up to 500m away from the central unit.
If the ‘DC’ cable is cut, QuadroSense immediately generates an alarm signal.
Fence detection at work
Sawing and cutting detection
View and adjust two related parameters inreal-time mode:
• HF parameters
• To detect attempted sawing and/or cutting of the sensor cable
• LF parameters
• To detect attempted climbing and/or scaling of the fence
Seismic sensor
• Max. 12 sensors per channel
• Max. 15m diameter detection zone per sensor
• Not visible after installation
Programming
All inputs are programmable by computer (RS485 protocol) - it is possible to fine-tune the system.
