CATERING ORDER & DELIVERY GUIDELINES

ORDERS To best plan your catered event, please place your orders by April 28, 2004. Service requests on lesser notice will be based on product & staff availability. Please use the “Catering Checklist” provided below and following these guidelines. GUARANTEE POLICY To prepare for each guest, we request that you guarantee the number of guests attending your event at least three business days in advance. Any changes to that guarantee must be received 24 hours prior to the event. If NO changes are confirmed, service will be provided and billed for the original number of guests. CANCELLATIONS Please contact our Catering Office at 474-8336 a minimum of 72 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation charges due prior to our advance preparation. SERVICE CHARGES & MINIMUMS A minimum $15.00 service fee will apply to catering orders less than $20.00 pre-tax. All orders are subject to a minimum service delivery charge of $15.00 per order. ECONOMY PAPER & PREMIUM CHINA SERVICE Economy Service is a no-frills paper service and is provided at NO extra charge. Premium Service is available, with a minimum of 15 guests, at a $1.00 per person charge and may include the following: coffee or buffet table linen, china, and cutlery – all attractively set up for you. Premium service does not include serving personnel. EQUIPMENT We must recover ALL catering equipment from every function. If you move any catering equipment from the original delivery location, please notify the Catering Office at 474-8336. Any catering equipment that is not recovered will be billed to your order. SERVICE STAFF Where service function staff are NOT included in your order, service staff can be made available for a minimum fee of $15.00 per server, per hour for a minimum of 3 hours. SPECIAL NEEDS & REQUESTS Call our Catering Manager at 474-9973 for all your function special needs and requests. Please note: Only ONE menu can be selected per function. However, special dietary menus can be made available provided the request is received at least 72 hours prior to the event. PRICES Prices listed in this menu guide do not include applicable taxes. An additional charge may apply for china, glassware, and cutlery. There is an extra fee for provision of linens,
service staff, delivery and transportation. Please contact the Catering Office for more details regarding these additional charges, before your event.

We are responsible for all alcohol sales and services on the University of Manitoba campus in accordance with the Manitoba Liquor License Board rules and regulations. As such, we will supply all alcoholic beverages served on campus. We also reserve the right to request proper identification and discontinue service to patrons.
