Spring is coming soon and that means track is coming soon. The callout meeting is Monday March 12th. Practice begins on March 13th. There are a few requirements to make sure you will make the team. One is to make sure to come to almost every practice. Another requirement is to make sure you don’t have any F’s in the third

quarter. You must also have a physical on file. There are many events be-sides running such as long jump, high jump, and shot put. When not at prac-tice you should try to get in shape by running and eating healthy meals with

high carbs. You should also try to eat lean protein. There are many benefits to being on track

such as learning team work . Also you will work hard and learn dedica-tion. So come on down an try out for track.

to you? A: When I was 13, I pooped in

public.

Q: What would you do with

$1,000,000? A: I would buy a lot of Nerf guns!

Mrs. C was chosen to be the

teacher spotlight because all

of the kids that know her know

that she is a one of a kind

teacher. One of her favorite

things to do is go golfing.

The most embarrassing thing

she has done is going sky div-

ing and causing $40,000 dam-

age to her leg. Her dog has won

the Ugliest Dog Award on

"America's Funniest Home

Videos." She is also a good

water skier.

Behind These Green Eyes

you don't get to see your boy-friend as much."

Almost everyone has heard the saying "sisters before mis-ters," but is that always true?

The Spartan Situation asked the Navigators if they would rather have a fun sleepover with friends or a

romantic date with their

boyfriend.

13 out of 25 girls chose a

date with their boyfriend,

but why? One girl responded, "I would go with my boyfriend because you get to see your friends all the time, and maybe

The other 12 girls chose their best friends, again, why?

"Your best friends will always be there and your boyfriend won't," a different girl replied, "You can talk about girl prob-lems with your best friends, but your boyfriend won't un-derstand." This was an inter-esting vote, and in a close run,

the boyfriends

won!
