Arrival timeWe would ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. This is to enable you to complete medical information, change, relax, unwind and familiarise yourself with your surroundings so the treatment can commence at the scheduled time. Please note that late arrival will result in the treatment time being reduced.

Medical conditionsIt is important that you advise us in advance of any health conditions, allergies or injuries which could affect your treatment when making your reservation.

Service chargeA discretionary service charge of 10% will be added to your bill.

Cancellation policyYou are respectfully advised that the full treatment cost will be incurred if less than 24 hours notice is given of an appointment postponement or cancellation. For non-resident clients, credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. Group bookings of 5 people or more will require a £20.00 deposit per person to secure the booking and the cancellation period will be stated on your booking form.

Spa attireSwimwear is obligatory within the hydrotherapy area. Upon arrival you will be provided with a luxury robe, towel and slippers. We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed during your body treatments but we must ask that undergarments be worn.

Spa etiquetteTo preserve the tranquillity of The Spa we request that all guests switch off their mobile phones and leave them within their locker. We request that guests keep noise to a minimum. The Spa at the Merchant Hotel is an adult only environment and open only to persons 18 and over.

ValuablesLockers are provided for your individual use, however, we recommend that you do not bring valuables into The Spa. The Spa at the Merchant Hotel does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of personal items.
