Layla Quran Major/Minor:

Global Studies/Journalism Minor

Why are you looking forward to the SOHP Internship?

Sharing the unique and important stories collected

through oral history interviews with the campus and

community, while sifting through and learning from

the rich collection of oral history interviews available

in the SOHP.

What is your favorite campus location?

Campus Y, Carroll Hall, or the Love house on a Friday

morning

Grace Tatter  Hometown :

Major/Minor:

U.S. History with minors in

Why are you looking

 forward to the SOHP

Internship?

One of my favorite classes

was Professor Jacquelyn

Hall's Introduction to Oral History, which I took last

spring. The scholarship-as-

activism ethos is one of the

best parts of Carolina, and

is particularly potent at the

SOHP.

What do you like doing

in your spare time?

Go to Yopo, jog around

Carrboro, sit outside and

read, take weekend trips

 to the mountains, and

watch Parks and Rec or

Mad Men on Instant

Netflix.
