Your task is to design a shelter to protect the scientists from the cold and keep them alive until help can arrive. When designing your shelter you must think about:•how you can minimise heat loss by conduction, convection & radiation• Ice will be directly below the tent so your floor must be made of a good insulator• Your shelter needs to withstand gale force winds• Try to make your shelter out of renewable or sustainable materials
