Revolution causes the seasons. There are four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. In summer, it is hotter than the rest of the year. Days are longer and nights are shorter. In winter, it is colder than the rest of the year. Days are shorter and nights are longer. Spring is the season between winter and summer and autumn is the season between summer and winter. In spring and autumn, days and nights are almost the same length.
