On November 6 th , almost 600 fans, community and business leaders, volunteers, coaches, alumni and athletes will gather at the Kentucky Center for the Arts to witness the induction ceremony of the 6 th Annual Louisville Catholic Sports Hall of Fame. While there are several Hall of Fames in Kentucky, this Hall of Fame represents the formal recognition of the outstanding contributions of individuals who have excelled in athletics at the highest level and who owe a significant amount of their success to their Catholic education and/or faith. While the event will be an evening to honor athletes and coaches that have excelled in the past, it will also celebrate the continuing Catholic formation of Catholic schools and their impact on the formation of our community’s current and future student athletes. The non- profit promotional partner of the evening is the CSAA (Catholic School Athletic Association), and the evening’s theme, “It all starts here,” will serve as a reminder of the incredible work that thousands of volunteers perform each year to insure that Catholic sports will continue to serve as a dominant force not only on the field, but in the formation of our future parents, coaches, communities, and business leaders. Former inductees have included Paul Hornung, Howard Schnellenberger, Mary T. Meagher, San Francisco 49ers great Bubba Paris, Coach Mike Glaser, the Brohm and Musselman families and many more. We invite you to take a look at how you and/or your business can partake in this historic event and one that has become one of the community’s highest profile athletic celebrations in Louisville.
