The Shikshiyan School
PRINCIPAL’S TAKE:
Dear Parents I extend my heartiest greetings to all parents and students to the second edition of the
‘Samvad’ our Newsletter. I thank you all for your love, faith and cooperation in the journey
of success of The Shikshiyan.
‘SAMVAD’ is an amalgamation of creative brilliance and achievements of the school in all
areas like sports, co-curricular and academics. It is my firm conviction that the students of
Shikshiyan will stride in life with confidence and success. Along with academics, the mentors
here also lay great stress on moral and emotional development of each and every child. The
vision is ‘holistic development’ of each child which can be achieved or attained through
persistent hardwork, dedication and commitment.

The importance of independence cannot be overemphasised. Not only the humans but all
other living creatures yearn for freedom and
independence. A free bird flying in the sky is happier in
comparison to a parrot in a golden cage. Realizing the
importance of freedom, lakhs of indians have sacrificed
their lives under the leadership of able freedom fighthers
such as Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh etc. and have
fought bravely against the British Rule and have gifted this
free and independent India to us. Hence by celebrating the
Independence Day we pay tribute and show our respect to
the freedom fighters who have sacrficed their lives for
making India free from British Rule and further take pledge
that it is our duty to protect the dignity of Mother India.
