THE SHEEP SCATTERING

• It’s a romanian traditional feast symbolize the ending of the pastoral year.

• Being held at Bran every year, it grasps the returning of the shepherds with the sheep from the mountains and the sheep scattering so that every animal holder receives his animals and different types of cheese, established for a while with the sheepfold administrators.

• Visitors can join the dances, sing and taste traditional products (bulz, cheese, sheep pastrami, products from the local’s household).

• There will be organised an exhibitions where are displayed animals and products, a shepherd’s dogs parade and another exhibitions of handicrafts wares of the traditional craftsmen from all over the country: ceramics, clothes, sculptures.
