Inviting people to Belong to a Loving Family,
Believe in a Life-Changing Faith and Become a Followers of Christ
Greg Pruett, author of Extreme Prayer and president of Pioneer
Bible Translators will be our guest preacher on Sunday,
April 28th. Pioneer Bible Translators have translated God’s
word for 26 million people in 62 languages in 14 countries.
Greg and his wife, Rebecca, along with their three children,
ministered as Bible translators in West Africa for over 12 years.
“All good prayer begins from a position of weakness - not a lofty
idea of our own spirituality. If we want our prayer life to be like
climbing a ladder to heaven, that first rung needs to touch the
mud in which we live. Once we choose prayer, God will lift us to
the next step.”

MISSION OF THE MONTH
Extended Hands, located in Indianapolis, is a ministry FCC has been supporting for many years. It reaches out
to those who have been incarcerated, and the director, Lee Ladd, ministers to 6 institutions weekly. The entire
ministry has 20 Chaplains for 25,000 inmates in 32 institutions state-wide. He has developed long-lasting rela-
tionships with many of the inmates that he visits weekly. Pray…
…that the prisoners develop a deep, long-lasting relationship with God and experience His love, accept Christ as their savior, allow God to work in them and accomplish His purpose in their lives, and ear-nestly seek God—getting involved with chapel services and other Christian programming.
…that the prisoners grow in godly attributes where they would respect the authority of the prison staff, be controlled in their temper, exhibit the Fruit of the Spirit, experience genuine remorse for the harm they have caused their victims and seek to make amends as appropriate and possible.
…that the prisoner’s relationships with their families will be rebuilt and that they will be committed to keep-ing in touch with their spouse and children, be able to maintain a strong connection with their family despite being separated, and experience reconciliation in strained and broken relationships.
…that their relationships with prisoners will improve in that they seek and make Godly friends to support and encourage them, stay away from harmful associations that will lead them astray, and be a friend to the lonely, the discouraged, and the lost.

Church family – We wanted to thank you for graciously coming out and supporting our
mission trip to Tanzania in July 2019. We had such an amazing turnout at the Valen-
tine’s Banquet!
Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in the ‘Not-So Newlywed Game’
that Scott McCain hosted. The amount of love and support we have received from the
congregation is amazing, and we could not thank you all enough.
Again, thank you all for coming out and donating to our mission trip.
With love, Scott, Hailey, Kathy, Alyssa, and Matt
FCC Family, Thank you so much for the recent gift. We appreciate the support and partnership that we have with you all. You are a great encouragement to us personally and to our ministry in Mexico. Thank you.

Ministry Service Opportunities
Last month a new FCC service opportunity was made available for ladies who desired to take part in the Communion
Serving and Offering Collection Ministry. Several ladies have joined this team and will begin serving in this area in
March.
Another area of service that we would like to broaden the base of those who volunteer is in our Children’s Ministry.
In addition to our women who have traditionally served as teachers/helpers in this ministry, the Elders of FCC would
like to encourage our men to be more involved in this ministry.
Being involved in our ‘Children’s Ministry’ would mean being part of a teaching/helping rotation. Options for ser-
vice opportunities include:
(9:30 am-10:30 am) Sunday School. Pre-K through Grade 5.
(10:30 am-11:30 am) Children’s Church. Pre-K through Grade 5.
(5:30 pm-7:00 pm) FCC Kids Evening Program. This program is available during the school year for children Kin-
dergarten to grade 5.
It has been said that more than half of people who will believe in Jesus, do so by age 12. Furthermore, by age 9 their
basic moral foundation has been formed, and by 13, a child has formed their basic beliefs about the nature of God, the
reliability of the Bible, the existence of an afterlife and the everlasting love of Jesus.
We have a huge responsibility before us that is not to be taken lightly. FCC has volunteers each Sunday who are
pouring truth into little hearts and minds when they are most open to God’s Word, while helping to raise up a future
generation of young people that will hopefully impact their world for Christ.
We ask that you prayerfully consider being a part of our Children’s Ministry.
If you would like to volunteer in this area or want more information please contact: Jennifer Wilson, Children’s Min-
istry Director at [email protected]
or by calling the church office at 812-626-0500.
Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
