SECTION I. THE RULE OF LIFE

Chapter 1: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph

Our Order was inspired by the Servants of Mary Rule, the writings of Sister Natalia of Hungary, and Christifideles Laici.

The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular apostolic endeavors.

The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc. comprises People of God who have taken promises to live the Rule

of Life.

All members derive their vocation to a lay religious life from their baptismal consecration. All members are encouraged to

meet together as family, to foster bonds of fellowship and prayer, and to work through their Sacraments to save those

souls who can still be saved.

A vocation to The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc., is a special calling within the Church, the holy people

of God. It consists of an invitation, freely given by God, to which a free and conscious response is made. In this gift we

recognize the teachings of Christ in the Beatitudes, and the efficacious maternal presence of Mary. In the words of Pope

John Paul II, "Through Mary's mediation, wholly oriented toward Christ . . ."

This gift of a vocation finds its roots in baptismal consecration, and with its acceptance, The Secular Order of Jesus,

Mary and Joseph members commit themselves to fulfilling the evangelical commandment of love.

Members of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph are people who support each other in their marital, family

and social life as well as through their active involvement in the world. They strive toward holiness according to the

spirituality of the Order, following its directives and the Rule.

Members undertake to incorporate in their lives the religious experience of the Saints of God, who have served in the past.

Each community provides a place to gather together to discover the presence of the Lord, and to find the support they

need to respond to their special call to holiness. All are called to serve, to invite, and to encourage others to a life of

prayer and service.

Through listening to the Word of God and through prayer, members deepen their sense of vocation and mission in the

community and in the world. The primary apostolic focus would be for those members who can reach out to the domestic

Church - the family. As living members of the Church, they commit themselves to knowing and living her teachings in

their own lives and apostolates. In particular, our communities desire to implement the Church's social doctrines to bring

about dignity and justice for the poor. Using the Holy Family as a guide, we strive to promote family Gospel values.

In the spirit of our Order, members draw abiding inspiration from the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother and Servant of the

Lord. We look to Her as a guiding image, leading us to a life of simplicity and service; totally dedicated to God. We

regard Her as the perfect model of a disciple of Jesus, and dedicate ourselves entirely to Her, honoring Her especially as

the Virgin of Sorrows, Our Lady of Mercy, Our Lady of Guadeloupe, and Mary, Victorious Queen of the World.

Members commit themselves to deepening their knowledge of Her and Her place in the mystery of salvation. A daily

consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus solidifies this dedication of service.

By means of the promise, members express a voluntary commitment to be faithful to the vocation received and to

maintain a living bond with the Order.

Chapter 2: The Life of the Community

Following the example of the first Christians who, " . . . were of one heart and one mind", the brothers and sisters of The

Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph meet together regularly to further their knowledge of each other, and to

strengthen each other on their journey together toward Christian perfection, and in the loving service of all people.

Page 4: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

All members take an active part in the regular meetings, which celebrate the life of the community. With simplicity, they

offer their personal contributions of experiences and ideas.

The community meets to proclaim and reflect on God's Divine Will and Word, to study the Rule, to discuss matters of

human, social religious concern, and issues related to the Rule. Meetings should always be an opportunity to pray, to

learn, to share, and to minister together.

The community has living links with the local church. Members should strive to be of service to their local parish or

serve in programs for the elderly, or the poor.

Whenever possible, brothers and sisters take part in the prayer life, renewal sessions, chapters and meals with all the

members. The partnership of married couples constitutes the first form of communion between persons. We desire to

educate couples in the dignity of the Sacrament of Marriage, and to teach them to minister as couples in the power of the

Holy Spirit; growing in sanctity through their Sacrament.

The community keeps in constant touch with those brothers and sisters who, because of particular circumstances, are

unable to attend the meetings of the group. An Infirmian is appointed to visit and pray with the person, seeing to the

person's needs. This intercessory prayer encourages and supports him/her in heartfelt solidarity, and in religious growth.

Likewise, it maintains bonds of communion, and a family spirit with the numerous other families and groups which

share the same vocation, and which together form a single family.

In the spirit of the Beatitudes, each member shares material goods according to his/her means, to assist brothers and sisters

in financial difficulties. Regular collections can be taken to finance the community operation. Each member should

"tithe" from his blessings of time, talent and treasure, for the apostolic endeavors of the Order.

Chapter 3: Prayer

Prayer is an essential duty for every Christian; but for the professed members of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and

Joseph, it is a way of life! Remembering the scriptural references to the prayer life of Jesus Christ, prayer constitutes our

special, personal response to our promise to follow Him, His teachings and His example. Prayer constitutes a special

commitment to growth in faith and hope. Prayer constitutes one's special commitment to bring the commandment of love

to perfection.

Members know well, in order to live constantly in God's silent presence, a personal and hidden prayer life is a necessity,

as Jesus wonderfully exemplified for us in His earthly life.

Prayer is a meeting with God in faith. The Blessed Virgin Mary, is the highest example of the person of prayer, and

through Her immaculate Heart, our Sorrowful Mother, our safe and sure guide on our journey, and the support of the

Order.

The Order attaches great importance to common prayer. Together with our brothers and sisters, we explore the depths of

the Word of God and intercede for all souls through the Blessed Virgin. We make our prayers centered on God's mercy

and to live the Rule in faithfulness in our vocation. We make prayers and acts of reparation and atonement to the Triune

God for the sins of the world. All communities are to devise and use programs that help get prayer back into the family.

Among the various prayers and prayer forms, liturgical prayer takes priority. The members participate in the liturgical

and sacramental life of the Church. The Divine Office is highly recommended.

In the Eucharist, the highest expression of prayer and the sacramental sign of the local community, the brothers and sisters

make present the Passover of the Lord; and establish a bond of love between them and all humanity. We foster

Eucharistic Adoration and Reparation. Members are encouraged to participate in the Mass as often as possible, and to

offer prayer for the Order, its members, and the local Diocese.

Page 5: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

Members of the community show special honor to the Blessed Virgin by means of particular acts of devotion, such as the

"Hail Mary", the vigil of the Blessed Virgin, the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows (Dolors), the Litany of Captives, etc. We

celebrate the Rosary of the principal Marian feasts as family feasts. We pray daily for each member of the local

community. If possible, all members fast and pray each week to fulfill the requests of the Blessed Mother for this time in

salvation history.

Understanding that the souls of the just in purgatory pray and intercede constantly for us, yet can do nothing to shorten

their purgation, members pray often for departed brothers and sisters, imploring the Lord's mercy on their behalf. A

minimum of one mass per year will be offered on behalf of the Order's deceased.

It is one of the duties of the community organize regular periods of reflection in which all members participate.

The purpose of the Order is for personal sanctification of its members by Eucharistic adoration and prayer of reparation

and atonement. All members are to promote Eucharistic Adoration and Devotion. The primary apostolic focus for all

communities would be for those members who can reach out to the domestic church - the family. The goals is to get

prayer back into the family.

Chapter 4: Penance and Conversion

Penance is a Gospel value and a sure means of conversion. Penance consists primarily of charity, understood as

acceptance of, and service to one another.

Members receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at least monthly to help maintain a constant orientation toward the

Divine Will, ever alert to everyday opportunities for the practice of charity, works of mercy and the virtue of moderation.

The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, is dedicated to bringing the commandment of charity to perfection.

Chapter 5: Witness of Poverty

Members live the evangelical Beatitude, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven”, following

the example of Mary, poor and humble servant of the Lord.

By conscientious work, simplicity and austerity of lifestyle, sensitivity to the needs of others and service to those most in

need, members give testimony of their love for the poor Christ. Members proclaim to the people of the world attracted to

wealth, power and pleasure, that God is the One Necessary Good, Who alone can satisfy the longings of the human heart.

Chapter 6: Apostolate

Faithful to their vocation of service, the members radiate the love of Christ throughout the world. following the example

of Mary, we offer to all people a living testimony of self-giving. The Order promotes family prayer, Eucharistic

Adoration and the Divine waWill as primary apostolic missions. Each community is encouraged to adopt programs that

will accomplish the mission.

All communities have the right to pick other works to assist the local poor, the community or the Church. This gives

members a vision and bonds the people together in a common service to the Lord. Furthermore, to help people prepare

for the Second Pentecost, we will work to make known those messages of Mary approved by the Church for private

devotion.

As members of the Church living in the world, members share in earthly anxieties as well as spiritual aspirations. Urged

by the love of God, we cooperate in the building of a new world in the light of Gospel values. We go into the whole

world for a determined time to serve in missionary territories (Christifideles Laici). Individual communities determine

how they are able to assist in this ministry.

Page 6: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

Our mission to bring prayer to the family allows us to fulfill a needs ministry to the unborn, the sick, the elderly, the poor

and suffering. In addition, this mission allows us to present traditional Catholic teaching in all that we do.

SECTION II. GENERAL STATUTES

Chapter 7: Organization

The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is made up of local communities consisting of professed members. Each

community must be approved by the International Office.

Persons and approved combinations and variations of the two. Communities and members are united by the same ideals

of life and form an International Community. Communities may group together for the common good.

The internal life of each community, or group of communities, is self-regulated, under the leadership of its elected

Prior/Prioress and its own Community Council.

Four promised members, are required in order to form a community. The International Council always bears the burden

of final approval for the erection of any new community.

Isolated-status Members are members who do not actively belong to, or participate in the community, and such

membership status is granted when extenuating circumstances warrant, such as, but not limited to: health, geographic and

national boundaries, distance, vocational scheduling and involvement. Nonetheless, Isolated Membership status is

permitted only with the approval of the responsible and accountable, sponsoring local Community Council. Where

possible, Isolated Members shall attend special Order events and retreats. Isolated Members incur all the obligations and

responsibilities of the Rule, except, an Isolated Member is not required to attend regular community meetings.

Each community and Isolated Member is spiritually connected to the Order in the love of Jesus through Mary, and

physically connected to the Order through the Community Council Advisor, appointed by the International Council.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is interpreted by the Holy Roman Catholic Church is the basis of the Rule and Organization.

The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph has been canonically erected since St. Pope John Paul II approved the Order

in the presence of Ron Lee and other founding members when they had an audience with the pontiff in 1992, The Order

was formed to meet the local needs of the Church, at which time a community was established and sent teams to the poor.

As a sign of membership in the Order, the members are offered the privilege of wearing the approved habit and using

J.M.J. after their names, following Final Promise. Habit for men being black shirts and gray pants. Habit for women, the

same colors - pants or skirts.

A proper relationship must be maintained with the Local Ordinary. In particular, a community must be in union with the

Holy Father.

Chapter 8: Government

Any official of the Order, given a duty, needs to be given the authority to complete that persons and approved

combinations and variations of the two. Communities and members are united by the same ideals of life and form an

international community. Communities may group together for the common good.

The Officials of the community report only to the Prior/Prioress. In keeping with the spirit of Jesus' teaching on authority

(that those who aspire to greatness in the Kingdom of God must serve the needs of all) each official is responsible to the

entire community, The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, and to God.

Page 7: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

The Prior General is both the authority and a sign of unity for the whole Order. In the spirit of service taught by Jesus,

first in the washing of the feet of the apostles and again in the drying of the feet of the apostles at the Last Supper, the

Prior/Prioress General respects the autonomy of the local communities while lovingly guiding all communities of the

Order through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, under the safe protection of Mary's mantle,

while always seeking the Divine Will of the Father. The Prior General is elected to lead the National and International

Council(s), as outlined in the Administrative Guide.

The Assistant General is named by the International Council, headed by the Prior General. The principal responsibility

lies in the area of community communications. The research, development, and implementation of formation programs,

study guides, the Rule and the Administration Guide will all generate problems and difficulties, which must be resolved.

The Assistant will communicate questions and answers from the International Council, and will solicit and coordinate

responses from communities to the International Council. He/She is also responsible for the coordination and

collaboration of communications between communities and members of the Order with respect to facilitating

communication within the Order as a whole. The Assistant General temporarily assumes the duties and responsibilities of

Office of the Prior General in the event of death or other incapacity until special election of the successor.

The Local Community Prior/Prioress is first among the brothers and sisters, presiding over the community's service of

love, as the servant of all the rest. Together with the Council and each member of the community, but responsible for and

to the community, the Prior/Prioress works to:

• Bear witness to Jesus Christ, who came not to be served, but to serve and to give more abundant life to His disciples;

• Convoke and preside at the separate meetings of the community and Council;

• Appoint members to lead and to be responsible for various offices and functions;

• Foster and encourage spiritual and apostolic endeavors of the community and members;

• Appoint a Vocation Coordinator/Director responsible for actively fostering vocations;

• Be vigilant concerning the adherence to and observance of the Rule and the Statutes;

• Ensure each member of the community has an opportunity to serve within his/her capacity, realizing God has a plan for

every person; and

• Collaborate with the Officials of the community.

The Council - We declare, here and now, that the purpose of the Rule is to give a framework for proper discernment, not

to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit. The authority and organization traditional in the Holy Roman Catholic Church has

long been the envy of other religions. It is this very Authority and Organization through which the Holy Spirit works, and

their obedience to which the Holy Spirit calls His children. Therefore, each community will have a Council, composed of

a Prior/Prioress, Secretary and Treasurer; elected by the community, which they shall guide and serve, and three

appointed council members. Their duties fully described in the Administrative Guide, include but are not limited to the

following:

• Collaborating with the Prior/Prioress in community leadership, and as appointed;

• Animating the community in prayer and service actions;

• Accepting Isolated Members and candidates for admission to the Order, supervising their postulancy, novitiate, and

administration of their promise;

• Approve the formation of a new community;

Page 8: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

• Following the guidelines in the Administrative Guide, to dispense the Promise of the Professed and to dismiss a member

of the community;

• Recommending a Vow of Chastity to the Local Ordinary.

The Assistant - can be established to work with the Prior/Prioress, should the community so desire. He/she should foster

the spirit of the Order and offer spiritual service and encouragement. The Assistant should be responsible for developing

local ministries of service and recruiting members to do the work of the Lord.

The Secretary - has the responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Keeping minutes of Council meetings;

• Keeping an up-to-date register of membership admissions and promises;

• Publishing the approved monthly calendar for the community, so each member is aware of the works, activities

and special events of the community;

• Looking after and maintaining updated records of the community; and

• Performing other duties as may be assigned by the Council.

The Treasurer - has the traditional duty of keeping clear and accurate records of donations and expenditures. A budget

and plan for ministry should be formalized by the Council. An annual report of all financial activities and expenditures

will be provided to each member of the community.

The Spiritual Advisor and Spiritual Director - each community needs a competent Spiritual Advisor to assist the Council

in the formation of the community and members. This person does not have to be a priest, but should be. If no priest is

available, the aid of a person grounded in the Catholic Faith and Practices should be enlisted.

Only ordained clergy may act as a community Spiritual Director.

SECTION III. PARTICULAR STATUTES

Chapter 9: Elections and Duties

Each community, or group of communities is to have its own Statutes for the practical implementation of those laid down

in the Rule.

In particular, these statues should:

a. Establish an election procedure for the community to govern regular elections. To this end, an election procedure is

furnished as a guide to each community. Although not a mandatory procedure, it is well- founded and working.

b. Establish the method of election and length of term of the various offices.

c. Establish the number, responsibilities, method of selection, and length of term of non-elected officers of the

community.

d. Establish the "other duties" of the Secretary.

Chapter 10: Private Vow of Chastity

Page 9: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

Members who are free to do so, and who desire to give of themselves more deeply to the suffering Christ, and who have

been given the vocation for seeking a higher degree of spiritual perfection, may apply to take a Vow of Perfect Chastity.

However, it is the intention of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, to work toward holiness through the natural

order God created for us and through the Sacraments. To this end, we emphasize -- Matrimony for couples; Baptism for

Associates.

To take such a vow is in accordance with ancient and praiseworthy customs of the Church. However, such a vow

involves a grave burden. It should not be taken without first giving serious consideration to the matter for personal

discernment, nor without the advice and approval of one's Confessor and one's Spiritual Advisor, nor without obtaining

permission from the local council and the Local Ordinary. Only if the affirmation is unanimous should this vow be

pursued. Married couples are not normally permitted to take this vow.

The Vow of Perfect Chastity takes on the obligation of celibacy, binding the soul to the virtue of Religion. It should not

be confused with purity of heart, abstention from the carnal, or the chastity of spirit associated with the fidelity mutually

celebrated by couples in their Sacrament of Matrimony.

Rather, in taking the Vow of Perfect Chastity, the soul seeks to perfect, the separation of itself from the world; that is, in

giving up everything for Christ, the Bridegroom of our Soul. It is at once symbolic and harsh. Since the denial of the

natural order is to affirm the supernatural order, and then only for the greater Glory of God, the soul needs to be certain of

the Divine Origins of the desire to this vocation.

If, after all this, the soul takes the Vow of Perfect Chastity, and after taking the vow it is found that a change from the

celibate state of life is necessary, the member must either wait until the time for which the vow was taken has elapsed, or

procure a dispensation in accordance with Canon Law.

Chapter 11: Formation

The vocation of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph grows within the community and by service within its

apostolic work. All communities are encouraged to keep in communication with each other, to share the success of the

Holy Spirit and Mary in the harvest field.

The community offers to every member the experience of sharing life and constant help; the community of the entire

Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph family transmits the riches of the Church and the Order.

A formation program outline is furnished each community by the Order. It must be adapted to the needs of the local

community and implemented to ensure each member has the opportunity to grow in the imitation of Jesus, through Mary.

It should be remembered, if you are not growing spiritually, you are stagnating, and dying spiritually.

The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph members are aware that bringing their vocation to full maturity demands

personal commitment to the Lord Jesus, through the Blessed Virgin Mary. In belonging to The Secular Order of Jesus,

Mary and Joseph, Inc., the member lives a promise made to God, all the while approaching the promise God made to the

member before time began. In this promise, lies a covenant. Therefore, The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph is a

tool for perfection and Holiness, used by God; and a tool to find fulfillment, used heart and soul by the member. To this

end, God builds on the natural He has created. Each member is therefore encouraged to use his/her gifts and talents in

relationship to God and all humanity, to pray for the needs of the Order and all members, and to promote vocations to the

priesthood and to the Order.

While the Virgin Mary shared on earth the life common to all, full of family worries and hard work, She was always in

intimate union with her Son, sharing in the Savior's work in a most singular way. She is the two-fold model for us to

follow. The Passion of the Sacred Heart is mirrored in the compassion of the Immaculate Heart. The Redemption of

mankind is achieved through Mary's cooperation with God's Plan -- She is the Co-Redemptrix of mankind. We follow

Her example of prayer and obedience, growing in Holiness; we stay close to Her for protection. The Immaculate

Conception is the first human infused with God's Divine Will. We are called in prayer to consecrate ourselves to His

Page 10: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

Divine Will, to accept as His children, His Divine Will as our own; as contrasted by the resignation of our free human

wills to God's Will.

Doctrinal formation of the Order is required for all members to assist in growing into intimate union with Jesus Christ.

Special emphasis will be placed on developing a social conscience in accordance with Church teaching. Communities are

strongly encouraged to use the Catholic Catechism for doctrinal teachings.

Chapter 12: Entry into the Secular Community

They may be admitted into the Order who manifest a sincere desire to share the ideals of the Order, undertaking to live

and express in their own social contest the human and evangelical values of the Christian life, honoring and imitating the

Blessed Virgin in a particular manner, according to the spirit of the Order. The Postulant must be able to receive the

Sacraments and be in good standing with the Catholic Faith.

For admission to The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, a candidate must submit a written request and a letter of

good standing from a priest to the local community's Formation Director. The Formation Director's written report shall

then accompany the candidate's request, and together be submitted to the Council of the local community.

The local community has the right to accept or reject the candidate. The candidate must have been baptized in the

Catholic or Eastern Orthodox Church, 18 years of age or older, in good standing with the Catholic or Eastern Orthodox

Church, who wants to make a permanent commitment to The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. If married, the

candidates apply as a Couple.

Admission to the community is conducted according to the ritual proper to The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Inc. Adaptations of the rite may be made with the final approval of the Local Council.

Upon admission, the candidate will be required to complete studies that will assist them in discerning their call to join the

Secular Order. The candidate is observed during the period of study and practice of the Rule to help determine the

authenticity of the candidate's vocation.

Chapter 13: Probation

Probation is defined as the period from the time of admission to the Novitiate to the time of Final Promise, usually one

year. Longer periods can be required by the local Council, should the Council deem it appropriate.

During the period of probation, under the guidance of the Prior/Prioress of the local community and the person

responsible for formation, the candidate undertakes:

• To discover and personalize his/her specific vocation as a lay person in the church, his/her virtues and characteristics

proper to the Order:

• To study the Rule and Statues proper to The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.;

• To deepen knowledge and understanding of the Church's teaching on the Virgin Mary in the Mystery of Christ and the

Church;

• To understand the essential elements and spirituality of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.;

• To complete the assigned Novitiate Study Programs;

• To begin a study of Holy Scriptures; and

• To be able to participate in community service(s).

Page 11: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

For sound reasons, and at the discretion of the local Community Council, the period of probation may be shortened or

lengthened.

Chapter 14: The Promise

The Promise is the act by which the candidate renews the consecration made at Baptism, undertaking to live it according

to the spirituality of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc., family, and in accordance with the Rule and

Statues of the Order.

By the promise, the candidate is enrolled perpetually into The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc., and shares in

the life, merits, graces and sanctity of the whole Order of Mary's family.

The request for admission to the promise must be made by the candidate in writing and be accompanied by a written

report for the person responsible for formation. The request is made to the Council of the local community. The

candidate can be any Baptized Catholic with a vocation to make a permanent commitment to the Order. Candidates must

be 18 years of age or older

The Rite of the Promise follows the formula prescribed by the Ritual of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Inc., and is presided over according to the circumstances by the Prior/Prioress of the local community. This is a solemn

occasion. Religious, Clergy, members of other local communities of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.,

members of other Secular Orders and Third Orders are also to be invited and welcomed by the local community to share

in this event and celebration. A permanent record must be made in the local community, and a notice of Admission by

Promise must be sent to the International Office for permanent file.

For just and valid reason, the Council of the local community can temporarily or permanently suspend any promised

person or couple. The case for such action must be set forth before the entire local Community Council, and discussed.

Action is to be voted and agreed upon unanimously only after having provided legitimate opportunity to hear the

person(s) involved in a special Council meeting.

Chapter 15: Formation Program

The disciplines of our formation converge in sacred liturgy. We acknowledge liturgy as the common focus in our search

to discover love and community identify. Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Light, and within His Presence in the

sacraments and paraliturgical celebrations, we will strive to be fully one with each other and the Holy Spirit. In particular,

each member should strive to receive the Body and Blood of Jesus as often as possible.

The Eucharist is the unique channel of God's Love and Presence, which breaks into our consciousness and heals our sub-

consciousness. Since the Order fosters Eucharistic Adoration, new members need to be fully acquainted with the

Benediction Rite, and be prepared to spend an hour in reparation whenever possible.

The International Office will publish a Formation Guide, which will be used by all communities for the formation of

members of The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

The poor are a very special people to Our Lord. Studies that will help a community learn to reach out to the poor deserve

special emphasis. The St. Vincent DePaul Society and certain other Catholic organizations are entirely dedicated to

helping the poor. By working with and learning from them, a community can grow in skills or benefit to the needy. Each

community should work within the local diocese to help the poor.

Some J.M.J. communities will send teams for a predetermined period to work in the international missions. While this is

laudable and worthy, it needs to be noted as truth that Christ suffers in your poor and needy neighbor first. Furthermore,

because it is your neighbor, it is God who calls you.

Page 12: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

God gives gifts to everyone -- we need to use our gifts to help the needy find and exercise their gifts. Each member of the

Body of Christ must have the opportunity to grow, refine and use their developing gift; first for themselves, then for God

in each other. We must pray for, allow and encourage members of the Order to grow in holiness and service, for it is by

prayer that we receive grace, by grace we receive strength, and through strength we minister. Charisma must be translated

into a living reality based on holiness of life.

It should be clearly understood that each country, region, or city has different requirements. The local community must

discern and design a teaching and formation program that meets or exceeds the needs of its members. Assistance

programs can be developed and shared with other communities. The International Office will maintain a lending library

for basic teachings. Among these teaching and formation programs must be included, those ministries embraced by the

Order. At this writing, approved programs include: Divine Will and Eucharistic Adoration. Work for purpose of

assisting the local community in these requirements, Study Guides and formation materials are available from the

International Office.

Brief records are to be kept on all members. We need to know the gifts that are available for service and what limitations

are also evident. A person designated to help in the formation program of an individual will complete a brief summary

report on the progress of the individuals as deemed warranted. In all cases, a report must be filed with the Local Council

before the Final Promise is made.

All candidates must consecrate their lives to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The candidate

must be taught and then prove sufficient speaking knowledge of the profound meanings of this consecration for purposes

of evangelization.

We encourage each community to acquire a Priest to act as the Community Spiritual Director. Each member is

encouraged to have a personal Spiritual Director or Spiritual Monitor, who will help discern what God is asking for

his/her soul's growth and service.

Chapter 16: Conclusion

We want to grow in Holiness of life and serve God through the Blessed Mother in the world. We want to reap all the gifts

and graces God wants to give us. We need to exercise the graces God gives us in all the Sacraments of the Church, with

particular emphasis on: Baptism, Confession, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, and most especially, Matrimony. Our

growth is through the joy of suffering, through prayer, fasting, sacrifice and whatever our Cross which God has for us to

carry. Our faith is dependent on the Word of God, not on human philosophy. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that we

live and move. Our consecration to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will lead us through

servant discipleship to final possession of the Kingdom of God. (15 August 1994 Ad Deum)

SECTION IV. PRAYERS, CONSECRATIONS AND LITANIES OF THE ORDER

Chapter 17: Prayers of the Order

Morning Offering in the Divine Will

Father God, I consecrate myself into your Divine Will for Your honor and glory. Thank You for another day to serve You

as Your child. I am nothing. God is All. Holy Trinity of God, I love You. All honor, power and glory are Yours.

Come Divine Will, continue to think in my mind, circulate in my blood, look with my eyes, listen in my ears, speak in my

voice, breathe in my breathing, beat in my heart, move in my motion, suffer in my suffering, and may my soul, consumed

and merged with Your Will, be the living crucifix immolated for the glory of the Father.

Page 13: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

Pray in me and then offer this prayer to Yourself as mine, to satisfy the prayers of all, and to give to the Father the Glory

that all creatures should give Him.

Infuse in me the faith of Mary, Most Holy, in order to possess You as She Possessed You.

Infuse in me the hope of Mary, Most Holy, in order to desire You as She Desired You.

Infuse in me the charity of Mary, Most Holy, to love You as She loved You.

Come Divine Will to adore in me. And, since Your Will multiplies acts to the infinite, thus I intend to give You the

Satisfaction as if all had assisted at Holy Mass, and give to all the fruit of the Sacrifice and impetrate salvation for all.

The Dolor Rosary

The Blessed Virgin Mary grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by saying seven Hail Mary's and

meditating on her tears and dolors. The devotion was passed on by St. Bridget.

Here are the Seven Graces:

1. I will grant peace to their families.

2. They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries.

3. I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.

4. I will give them as much as they ask for, as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my Divine Son, or the

sanctification of their souls.

5. I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.

6. I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother.

7. I have obtained (This Grace) from my Divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors will

be taken directly from this earthly life

to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy.

Seven Sorrows: 1. The Prophecy of Simeon (St. Luke 2: 34-35)

2. The Flight into Egypt (St. Matthew 2: 13-14)

3. The Loss of the Child Jesus in the Temple (St. Luke 2: 43-45)

4. The Meeting of Jesus and Mary on the Way to the Cross (St. Luke 23: 26-28)

5. The Crucifixion (St. John 19: 25-387)

6. The Taking Down of the Body of Jesus from the Cross (St. John 19: 32-37)

7. The Burial of Jesus (St. John 19: 38-42)

* Three Hail Mary's in Honor of the Tears of Mary

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in

heaven. Give us this day, Our Daily Bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and

lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

The Angelic Salutation (Lk 1:28-42

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou among women, and Blessed is the Fruit of thy womb,

Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners (and send forth the graces of your Flame of Love to all mankind)

now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

The Angelus

V. The angel of the Lord declared unto Mary. R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit. (Hail Mary. . .)

V. And the Word was made flesh. R. And dwelt among us. (Hail Mary . . .)

V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God. R. That we may be worthy of the Promises of Christ. (Hail Mary . . .)

Glory Be to the Father

without end. Amen.

Glory Be to God Through the Victorious Queen

Glory to the Father; Glory to the Son; Glory to the Holy Spirit, through the Holy Virgin -- The Victorious Queen of all the

world, now and forever. Amen, Alleluia!

The Apostle's Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only son, Our Lord, Who

was conceived by the Holy spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was

buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, He arose from the dead. He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the

right hand of the Father, from whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the

Holy Catholic church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Amen.

Act of Contrition

O, my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins, because of Thy just punishment. But,

most of all, because they offend You, My God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the

help of Your grace, to sin no more, and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

Act of Faith

O, my God, I firmly believe that You are One God in Three Divine Persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe that

Your divine Son became Man and died for our sins, and that He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe

these and all the truths which the Holy Catholic Church teaches, because You revealed them, who can neither deceive nor

be deceived. Amen.

Act of Hope

O, My God, relying on Your infinite goodness and promises, I hope to obtain pardon of my sins, the help of Your grace,

and life everlasting, through the merits of Jesus Christ, My Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Prayers of Contrition

Page 15: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

O, my Jesus, I love You over and above everything! For the love of You, I am sorry for all my sins. O, Merciful Love, I

ask pardon for the sins of the world. United with the Immaculate Heart of our Heavenly Mother, I ask pardon for all my

sins, and for the sins of my brothers and sisters, that have been and will be committed until the end of the world. My dear

Jesus, united with Your Holy Wounds, I offer my life to the Eternal Father, according to the intention of the Sorrowful

Mother. Virgin Mary, Queen of the World, Mediatrix of humanity, our only refuge and hope, pray for us!

Come, Holy Spirit, prepare the hearts for the coming reign of the Two Most Holy Hearts, inflamed with Love, all over the

world. Amen.

Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come, Holy spirit, fill my heart with Your Holy Gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated with your strength this very day,

that I may fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously, that I may do what is right and just. Let my charity be such as

to offend no one and hurt no one's feeling, so generous as to pardon sincerely any wrong done to me. Assist me, O Holy

Spirit, in all my trails of life, enlighten me in my ignorance, advise me in my doubts. Strengthen me in my weakness, help

me in all my needs, protect me in temptations, and console me in afflictions.

Graciously hear me O Holy Spirit, and pour Your light into my heart, my soul and my mind. Assist me to live a holy live

and to grow in goodness and grace. Amen.

To the Sacred Heart of Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary

My dear Jesus, before the Trinity, Our Heavenly Mother, and the whole Heavenly Court, united with Your most Precious

Sacred Blood and Your Sacrifice on Calvary, I hereby offer my whole life for the intention of Your Sacred Heart and the

Immaculate Heart of Mary. Together with my live, I place at Your disposal, all Holy Masses, all my Holy Communions,

all my good deeds, all my sacrifices, and all the sufferings of my entire live, for the adoration and supplication of the Holy

Trinity, for unity in our Holy Mother church, for the Holy Father, and for priests, for good priestly vocations, and for all

souls, until the end of the world. O, my Jesus, please accept my life sacrifice and my offerings, and give me Your Grace,

that I may persevere obediently until my death. Amen.

Prayer to the Heavenly Queen to Obtain the Triumph of the Divine Will Upon the Earth

Immaculate Queen, my heavenly Mother, I come upon your maternal knees to abandon myself in Your arms, as your dear

child, to ask of You, the greatest Grace, with the most ardent sighs, that You admit me to live in the Kingdom of the

Divine Will.

Holy Mother, You who are the Queen of this Kingdom, admit me as Your child to live in It, so that It no longer be

deserted but be populated by Your children. Therefore, Sovereign Queen, I commit myself to You -- guide my steps in

the Kingdom of the Divine Will and with my hand clasped in Your maternal hand, You will guide my whole being so that

I live the perennial Life in the Divine Will. You will exercise Your office of Mother toward me; and to my Mother, I

make the commitment of my will, in order that You might exchange it for me with the Divine Will; and thus, I shall be

sure of not going of Its Kingdom. Therefore, I ask You to illuminate me, to make me understand what the Will of God

means. Amen.

Making Rounds in the Divine Will

Eternal Majesty, I come to Your Feet in the name of all the human family, from the first to the last man of the future,

present and past generations, to adore You profoundly at Your most Holy Feet. I want to seal the adoration of everyone.

I come to recognize You in the name of everyone as the absolute Creator and Ruler of everything. I come to love You for

each and every one. I come to give You a return of love for everyone, for each created thing in which You have placed so

Page 16: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

much love inside, that the creature will never find sufficient love to be able to return Your love. But, in Your Will, I find

this love; and wanting that my love, like the other acts, to complete, full and for everyone. Therefore, I have come into

Your Will, where all is immense and eternal; and I found love to be able to love for everyone. Therefore, I love You for

each star that You have created. I love You for as many rays of light and intensities of color You have placed in the sun.

(One can continue through all creation, redemption and sanctification) Amen.

Prayer at the Hour of Mercy

O Jesus, eternal Truth, our Life, I call upon You and beg Your mercy for poor sinners. O sweetest Heart of my Lord, full

of pity and unfathomable mercy, I plead with You for poor sinners. O Most Sacred Heart, Fount of Mercy from which

gush forth rays of inconceivable graces upon the entire human race, I beg of You lift for poor sinners. O Jesus, be

mindful of Your own bitter Passion and do not permit the loss of souls redeemed at so dear a price of Your most Precious

Blood.

O Jesus, stretched out upon the cross, I implore You, give me the grace of doing faithfully the most Holy Will of Your

Father, in all things, always and everywhere. And, when this Will of God will seem to me very harsh and difficult to

fulfill, it is then I beg You, Jesus, may power and strength flow upon me from Your Wounds, and my lips keep repeating,

"Your Will be done, O Lord."

O Savior of the world, Lover of man's salvation, who in such terrible torment and pain, forgot Yourself to think only of

the salvation of souls, O most compassionate Jesus, grant me the grace to forget myself that I may live totally for souls,

helping You in the work of salvation, according to the Most Holy Will of Your Father. Amen.

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy

On your Rosary, begin with one Our Father, one Hail Mary and one Apostle's Creed.

On the large beads: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood ,Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son,

Our Lord Jesus Christ. In atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

On the small beads: For the sake of His Sorrowful Passion, Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

three times)

Prayer Before the Crucifix

Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus, as before Your Cross I humbly kneel and pray that you will bestow upon my

heart Your gifts of Faith, Hope and Charity; true contrition for my sins; and a firm purpose of amendment. O Lord, as I

gaze with sorrow upon Your five precious wounds, I call to mind the words of Your servant, David who said, "They have

pierced my hands and my fee, they have numbered all my bones". (Follow with and Our Father, Hail Mary and a Glory

Anima Christi

Soul of Christ, sanctify me; Body of Christ, save me; Blood of Christ, inebriate me; water from the Side of Christ, wash

me; Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O Good Jesus, hear me. Within Your Wounds, hide me. Suffer me not to be

separated from You. From the malignant enemy, defend me. In the hour of my death, call me; and bid me to come to

You, that with Your saints, I may praise You forever and ever. Amen. (seven years Indulgence after Holy Communion)

Spiritual Communion

O Jesus, I turn toward the Holy Tabernacle where You live, hidden for love of me. I love You, O My God. I cannot

receive You in Holy Communion. Come, nevertheless, and visit me with Your graces. Come spiritually into my heart.

Purify it -- Sanctify it -- Render it like unto Your Own. Amen.

Lord, I am not worthy that You should enter under my roof, but only say the word, and my soul shall be healed.

Prayers Taught by the Angel at Fatima

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly. I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood,

Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and

indifferences whereby He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His Most Holy Sacred Heart and the

Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee, the conversion of poor sinners. Amen.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to Your protection, implored

Your help, or sought Your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, we fly unto Thee, O Virgin of

virgins, Our Mother. To thee do we come, before Thee we kneel, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate,

despise not our petitions but in Thy mercy, hear and answer them. Amen.

Magnificat

My soul proclaims the greatness of The Lord, my spirit rejoices in God, my Savior, for He has looked with favor on His

lowly servant. From this day, all generations will call me Blessed. The Almighty has done great things for me, and Holy

is His Name.

He has mercy on those who fear Him in every generation. He has shown the strength of His arm, He has scattered the

proud in their conceit. He has cast down the mighty from their thrones and has lifted up the lowly. He has filled the

hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.

He has come to the help of His servant, Israel, for He has remembered His promise of Mercy, the promise He made to our

fathers, to Abraham and his children for ever. Amen.

Hail Mary of Our Sorrowful Mother

Hail Mary, full of sorrows, the Crucified is with You; tearful are You among women and tearful is the Fruit of Your

womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of the Crucified, give tears to us, Crucifiers of Your Son, now and at the hour of our

death. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph

St. Joseph, you are the chaste and loving spouse of the Virgin Mary, the foster father of Jesus, the protector and provider

of the Holy Family and all families. We have complete confidence in your loving care for new life and in your fidelity to

the family. We commend our efforts to your prayers and protection. Help us always to defend the gift of human life, that

it may grow to the abundance of eternal life, promised and bestowed on us by your Son, our Brother, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer to St. Francis

Lord, make me an instrument of peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there

is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness joy.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek as to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to

be loved as to love. for it is in giving, that we receive; it is in pardoning, that we are pardoned; and it is in dying, that we

are born to eternal life. Amen.

Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel

St. Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May

God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan

rule and guide. Amen. Keep me safe from the temptations and wiles of the enemy. Bring me the wisdom of God to see,

hear and obey my Heavenly Father. Amen.

Prayer of the Sick, Recommended by Our Lady

My Jesus, I know that You love me, and You love particularly the sick and suffering. I ask You, if it is possible, to take

away this chalice of Suffering. But, I say with You, as You said in the Garden of Gethsemani: "Not my will, but Thine be

done". My Jesus, strengthen and console me. Our Heavenly Mother, healer of the sick, pray for me to Your Holy Son.

Amen. (Pray this for yourself and for others)

us. Lord, be merciful to us, who are sinners.

We adore You, O most Holy Lord, Jesus Christ. We bless You, because through Your Holy Cross, You have redeemed

the world.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection at

every moment, in all the Tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen. O Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament,

have mercy on us and the world.

Chapter 18: Consecrations of the Order

Consecration to the Immaculate Heart

Virgin of Fatima, Mother of Mercy, Queen of Heaven and Earth, Refuge of Sinners, we who belong to the Marian

Movement, consecrate ourselves in a very special way to your Immaculate Heart.

By this act of consecration, we intend to live, with you and through you, all the obligations assumed by our baptismal

consecration. We further pledge to bring about in ourselves that interior conversion so urgently demanded by the Gospel,

a conversion that will free us of every attachment to ourselves and to easy compromises with the world, so that -- like you

-- we may be available only to do always the Will of the Father.

And, as we resolve to entrust to you, O mother most sweet and merciful, our life and vocation as Christians, that you may

dispose of it according to your designs of salvation in this hour of decision that weighs upon the world, we pledge to live

it according to your desires. Especially, as it pertains to a renewed spirit of prayer and penance, the fervent participation

in the celebration of the Eucharist, and in the works of the apostolate; the daily recitation of the holy rosary; and an

austere manner of life, in keeping with the Gospel that shall be to all, a good example of the observance of the law of God

and the practice of the Christian virtues, especially that of purity.

We further promise you to be united with the Holy Father, with the hierarchy, and with our priest, in order thus to set up a

barrier to the growing confrontation directed against the Magisterium, that threatens the very foundation of the Church.

Under your protection, we want, moreover, to be apostles of this sorely-needed unity of prayer and love for the People, on

whom we invoke your special protection. And lastly, insofar as possible, we promise to lead those souls with whom we

come in contact, to a renewed devotion to You.

Mindful that Atheism has caused shipwreck in the faith to a great number of the faithful, that desecration has entered into

the Holy Temple of God, and that evil and sin are spreading more and more throughout the world, we make so bold as to

lift our eyes trustingly to you, O Mother of Jesus and our merciful and powerful Mother, and we invoke again today, and

await you, the salvation of all your children, O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Consecration to the Divine Will

Oh, adorable and Divine Will, here I am before the immensity of Your light, so that Your eternal goodness may open the

doors to me and make me enter into it, to form my life all in You, Divine Will. therefore, oh, Adorable Will, prostrate

before Your light, the least of all creatures, I put myself into the little group of the children of Your Supreme Fiat.

Prostrate in my nothingness, I invoke Your light, and beg that it clothe me and eclipse everything that does not belong to

Page 20: The Secular Order of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, Inc.sojmj.com/secularorder/Rule.pdf · The Servite Rule is the official basis of our spirituality. It has been amended to serve our particular

You, Divine Will. It will be my life, the center of my intelligence, the enchantment of my heart and of my whole being. I

do not want the human will to have life in this heart any longer. I will cast it away from me and thus form the new Eden

of peace, of happiness and of love. With it, I will always be happy. I will have a singular strength and a holiness that

sanctifies all things and brings them to God.

Here prostrate, I invoke the help of the Most Holy Trinity, that They permit me to live in the Cloister of the Divine Will

and thus return in me the first order of creation, just as the creature was created.

Heavenly Mother, Sovereign and Queen of the Divine Fiat, take my hand and introduce me into the light of the Divine

Will. You will be my guide, my most tender mother, and will teach me to live in and to maintain myself in the order and

the bounds of the Divine Will. Heavenly Mother, I consecrate my whole being to your Immaculate Heart. You will teach

me the doctrine of the Divine Will, and I will listen most attentively to your lessons. You will cover me with Your

mantle, so that the infernal serpent dare not penetrate into this sacred Eden to entice me and make me fall into the maze of

the human will.

Heart of my greatest good Jesus, You will give me Your flames to burn me, consume me and feed me to form in me the

life of the Divine Will.

St. Joseph, you will be my protector the guardian of my heart, and will keep the keys of my will in your hands. You will

keep my heart jealously and will never give it to me again, so I can be sure of never leaving the Will of God.

Guardian Angel, guard me, defend me, and help me in everything, so that my Eden may flourish and be the instrument

that draws all men into the Kingdom of the Divine Will.

Heavenly Court, come to help me and I will always live in the Divine Will. Amen.

Grant, we beseech Thee, O Almighty and Merciful God, that Thy Holy Spirit may come to dwell in us and make of us the

Temple of His Glory. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen
