The SCHNOOR DMR-System provides a unique con-nectivity to users of PMR networks. DMR base stations are the most important devices in this scenario, but with our modular toolkit of interfaces and gateways, PMR users can select form an almost unlimited number of scenarios:

• Connection to dispatcher workplaces, either as a stand-alone console or PC-based

• Telephone interfaces to conventional or SIP-based PSTN

• Integration of the DMR-System into a SNMP-Main-tenance network and other service interfaces

Planning, Installation, Hardware & Software Maintenance

SCHNOOR offers complete service packages for your DMR system. You can rely on our field engi-neers, who support you with tailor made services, no matter if you need radio coverage planning, installation or maintenance support. Our maintenance service helps you to ensure all parts of your DMR system work as specified. Within a pre-ventive maintenance contract, we regularly check your system for all relevant parameters to keep your system at work and 100% available. The new DMR technology is a modern standard for users demanding a professional communication system:

• Highestreliability DMR-systems can be configured in a way to keep

you in full control. You decide, if you want to equip your network with an uninterruptable power sup-ply, microwave backhaul links or redundancy for 100% availability, enough for even highest demands. The DMR technology itself is very robust, so that even with lowest RF levels a safe and reliable con-nection can be maintained.

• Real-timecallsetup If users are working on machinery or vehicles, time

is often a very critical variable for PMR users. Not

for DMR, it provides a call setup within milliseconds, enough for even the most time critical applications.

• Re-useofexistingfrequencylicenses Existing frequency licenses can often be re-used for

DMR, because it uses the same channel spacing like conventional FM. This makes migration simple!

• Aglobalstandardforsafecommunication DMR has been accepted by ETSI as a global standard

for professional wireless radio. So you can be sure, that DMR components will be available for a long time and you can choose from a wide variety of sup-plies for radios.

DMR is suitable for providing coverage in buildings or tunnels, because it uses a low frequency spectrum. Lo-wer frequencies allow a more efficient coverage. While you would need dozens of access points for DECT or WLAN all over your building, one DMR base station is often enough for covering even basements or garages.

Things become even easier if there is an existing in-door radio system for fire safety. In this case, it is of-

ten possible to re-use the existing radiating cable, the most expensive part of the system.
