The ones that worked - FramingI like this photo because the main focus is easily spotted, and is framed by the dark areas it also follows the balance, and thirds rules.

The ones that worked – Leading LinesI chose this as my example for leading lines because the main focus is very clear and the spines on the plant lead the eye into the image.

The ones that worked – Rule of ThirdsThis is the photo because I think that it shows the rule of thirds as the tower is in the left third leaning slightly to the right, the clear blue sky also highlights the colour of the tower

Leading LinesI like this but I don’t think it works because of the angle of the photo

Leading LinesI like this one because the green grass makes the focus stand out and the white marking points to her but it’s not that clear

SimplicityI really like the focus on the spider on the silver background but the fence behind clutters the image

The one the failedThe lack of focus spoils this, because if it had worked the contrast between the blue and green would have made a nice photo
