What are the rules of Baseball?

Rules

• There is a total of 9 innings in a complete baseball game.

• There are two parts to every inning.• one half of an inning is designated to a team

being either on offense or defense.• It is called the top of an inning for the first part

• There are a total of 6 outs every inning. • Each team gets three outs each, during every

inning. • For a total of 54 outs a game. • For a total of 27 outs for each team.

Positions

• There is a total of 9 positions in a baseball game while on defense. A pitcher, catcher 1st basemen, 2nd basemen, 3rd basemen, shortstop, right fielder, center fielder, left fielder.

There is only one position while on offense. The batter.

Equipment.

• For equipment on offense you need a glove and a ball.

• For equipment on Defense you need a bat.• Equipment you don’t need to have but you can also

have is batting gloves and sunglasses• You need to at all times have cleats• Although not needed a lot of baseball players have

these necklaces called Phiten necklaces which you don’t have to have in order to play
