The amendmentrequires that members and supplementary members be residentsof the province and not be bankrupt, of unsound mind or con-victed of fraud.As well, the Commission approved amendments to Articles14(1) and (5), 15(1) and 16(1) and (3) to ensure the indepen-dence of the Audit Committee and the Human Resources andGovernance Committee given the Chair also occupies the CEOrole. The amendment to Article 14(5) does not preclude theChair/CEO attending meetings at the invitation of the commit-tee or being consulted by the committee.
