BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, BE A LEARNER
It has been a very busy week here at The Risk Public School. With wet weather settling in, the children have tried to make the most of the sunshine when it peaks out behind the clouds, and are being creative inside the classroom when it has been too wet to be outside.
The school has had a much needed facelift recently with our painting of rooms and toilet blocks. Wayne has been busy hanging the students artwork on the walls and the school is feeling very welcoming.
The Student Parliament have some new raised garden beds, and the current beds are looking very lush with peas, lettuce, tomatoes, basil and much more. We look forward to seeing what they will create in cooking classes for all of us to try.
Enjoy your week, Lisa

FRIDAY LUNCHES
Lucas and Lincoln cooked up a storm for student Parliament lunches on Friday.
The chefs cooked pasta carbonara and it was enjoyed by our hungry students.
Happy Birthday Lisa
We wish Lisa a very happy birthday for
yesterday. One of the children’s favourite ways
to celebrate. CAKE !
Making Music Together
So lovely to see Zanthe’s beautiful smile
while she plays music with Kaliber & Jake.

OUR REFRESHED LIBRARY
Our library has received a new injection of life thanks to
Ms Sawford, Wayne and our painters. Our library has a new
fresh coat of paint, a clean and organisation, and new space has
been created. It feels like a creative and inspiring space to learn
in. Students have enjoyed the extra room to enjoy their
favourite books. Students have reached the half way mark
through the Premier’s Reading Challenge. Please do not forget to
let Ms Sawford know of any books students have read that could
be added to their reading list.
