We cant afford to wait any longer for a more convenient season to be about the Lords business. Lets all in- vest everything we possibly can into the Lords work: Our prayers, our energy, our skills, our time and money, but first our hearts. Lets be like our Macedonian brethren before us who first gave themselves to the Lord ( 2 Corinthians 8:5). We have no idea what God can accomplish through us when we all fully surrender to Him and allow Him unfettered access and complete use as His chosen vessels. Brethren, the future is NOW. Lets rise up together and BUILD! God loves YOU and so do I. - Tim

The Future Is Now

It is an exciting time to be part of God’s family at Warner Robins! Good things are oc-curring on a weekly basis. Bible studies are being set up and conducted. In His time, God will produce the harvest. People are obeying the gospel of Christ. Individuals and families are placing membership with a desire to serve the Lord alongside us. We want to welcome Rob & Connie Wilson into our church family. This couple recently moved here from Ohio for Rob’s employment, and they have a son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter in the area. They are happy, and so are we. God is definitely blessing our work together in this place, and all honor and glory truly goes to Him. Without Him we are nothing. Without Him we can accomplish nothing. But, with Him, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). God can change and save any-one. God can change and save you; God can change and save me; God can change and save our neighbors. Let’s leave no stone unturned. Let’s give everyone the same opportunity to know the Lord and enter the kingdom of heaven. We must not write anyone off thinking they are not worthy of God’s gift of grace, or that they’d only re-ject it if given the opportunity. The power is in God’s seed. Let’s not get in the way of God doing His work! He wants to use you and He wants to use me. Brethren, the best is yet to be! It is time to rise up and build. We can’t afford to wait any longer for a more convenient season to be about the Lord’s business. Let’s all in-vest everything we possibly can into the Lord’s work: Our prayers, our energy, our skills, our time and money, but first our hearts. The Elders’ Edification Counting the Costs

On 14 August 2017 we completed the land purchase for the site of our new building. Many thanks are extended to all involved but especially to God our Father for His providential guid-ance. But, there is still much work to be done. Luke 14:28 speaks of counting the cost to build a tower, but this is really a metaphor for the cost of discipleship. These costs are two-fold. First, we must put God first before all others, even our own family (Luke 14:26). Second, we must carry our own cross (Luke 14:27). Luke writes, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). When someone took up a Roman cross, it was a one-way journey leading to an agonizing death. Christians carrying their cross are also on a one-way journey. Having died to self and the old way of life, they are now voyaging toward an eternal home. It is not an easy life. Putting God before self – seeking his will before my own – that is a sacri-fice. But our sacrifice does not compare to the one Jesus took in our place. All that we do pales in comparison. Yet, there is much we can do – much He expects us to do. One thing He expects from us is to lead someone we know to Him. Soon, we will be introduc-ing an easy three-step Bible study called Back to the Bible. This material leads our study in an easy to use method so that anyone can sit at your kitchen table and learn with you. The first study examines the source of religious authority. The second studies our Lord’s church. And third focuses on our need for salvation. This is what it’s about. Our new building is certainly needed to meet current and future needs.

But its purpose is to help save souls. Like the Back to the Bible material and other ministries, it is just another tool to help others to know Christ and grow in Him. It is about filling the build-ing up with growing Christians. It is about growing together.
