Actually in defense of Clint, he is doing a good job in their OIG/IAD Division. Cases are thoroughly investigated through his leadership and at times forwarded to P.I.G. for follow up and presentation to a Grand Jury.

It seemed he already was there full time. How he took any appointment with a straight face was beyond me. October 4, 2013 at 7:06 PM

This should give a few an idea of the work Clint does. From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: FW: DA's Office Date: Sat, 1 Jan 2011 15:53:05 -0500 This is an email I sent to Tom Nixon on July 18, 2010. I thought you should know about it. I don't know if it makes any difference, but I feel that it was completely inappropriate to influence the grand jury by affecting my testimony. Thanks, Waleed Hassan From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: DA's Office Date: Sun, 18 Jul 2010 21:10:30 -0400 Tom: I don't know who to talk to about this, but it has been bothering be since the beginning. Early on, prior to going to the Grand Jury and before the IAD investigation, I was told that I was not a target of the criminal investigation. My Attorney, Kim Parks, told me that she is friends with Clint Greenwood and used to work with him in the DA's office. Kim said that Greenwood told her that I better not tell the Grand Jury that Chad Holley put his hands underneath him, or anything suggesting that or they would come after me "guns blazing". This was a huge factor in my testimony and I testified under duress and was not able to say things that I believed to be

true out of fear of being indicted. This is the thing that troubles me more so that Quanell X or Chad Holley. I feel like I was a political pawn. I don't want to get Kim in trouble, but what Greenwood did to me Is not right. Waleed October 5, 2013 at 9:27 PM

All I can say is, if the P.I.G ADA's pursue us with the same lack of enthusiasm the Intake ADAs show for regular people doing things wrong, I will be shocked if any cops get indicted.

About Me

A Harris County Lawyer

Houston, Texas, United States

I'm a Criminal Defense Attorney and a former Harris County prosecutor. I've been involved in Criminal Law since I was in college, and I've been practicing in Houston for over 11 years. Most people never have to come down to the Harris County Criminal Justice Center unless they have jury duty. This blog is meant to give the Outsider an inside view. These are just my opinions. The opinions of the Commenters are also just their opinions and I don't endorse them. But (within reason), I want everybody to be able to have a forum to say what they want to say.
