Small Item of Interest - Jim Leitner Edition I learned today that Jim Leitner is going to work full time at the Harris County Sheriff's Office. I haven't heard any of the details other than that. Talk amongst yourselves.

On July 18, 2010 one of the peace officers targeted in the investigation of the Chad Holley beating reported that Clinton FrancisGreenwood threatened criminal prosecution against him if he didn't testify to the Grand Jury in a certain way. The Houston Police Officer'sUnion was notified of this coerced testimony in January 2011, but everything was kept secret from the public. A copy of these reports werepublished on October 4, 2013 in this blog. This calls into question how the Chad Holley case was handled by government officials.

Actually in defense of Clint, he is doing a good job in their OIG/IAD Division. Cases are thoroughly investigated through his leadership and at times forwarded to P.I.G. for follow up and presentation to a Grand Jury.

I don't know if it makes any difference, but I feel that it was completely inappropriate to influence the grand jury by affecting my testimony. My Attorney, Kim Parks, told me that she is friends with Clint Greenwood and used to work with him in the DA's office. Kim said that Greenwood told her that I better not tell the Grand Jury that Chad Holley put his hands underneath him, or anything suggesting that or they would come after me "guns blazing". This was a huge factor in my testimony and I testified under duress and was not able to say things that I believed to be

All I can say is, if the P.I.G ADA's pursue us with the same lack of enthusiasm the Intake ADAs show for regular people doing things wrong, I will be shocked if any cops get indicted.
