Handouts – KS3 and KS2• Game – envelope sorting Year 6 & Year 7 Objectives

• Game - ne…pas sandwiches

• Discussion – what is progression in language learning & how do you measure it?

• Game – sort the skills into starnds & years 3-7

• Progression in language skills IS NOT THE ACCUMULATION OF VOCABULARY IN TOPICS

• We need to TRUST each other not re-teach

No set content because finally the teacher is recognised as

expert!

Which could also be a little scary…

Teach a language not a topic!

What is progression?

When choosing new schemes, ask yourself:What language exactly are we teaching?

Why?

Au royaume de Dô…

Les personnages:

Le roi de Dô Je m’appelle Dô Môgô Niémôgô

Diatta Koné

Le roi de Mandé

Je suis le roi de

Mandé.

Le roi de Dô La sœur du Roi de Dô.

Je suis la sœur du roi.

Le buffle

Grrrr....

FIN.

L’histoire… dans l’ordre!
