RED HAT CORE LINUX PATH

RED HAT ENGINEER LINUX PATH

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION I (RH124)

This course is aimed at students who are new to Linux and require core Red Hat Enterprise Linux skills.

The RH124 course focuses on providing students with Linux administration “survival skills” by focusing on core administration tasks and it is also focused on administration tasks that will be encountered in the workplace, this course will actively engage students in task-focused activities, lab-based knowledge checks, and facilitative discussions to ensure maximum knowledge and skill transfer and retention. By the end of the course, students will be able to perform installation, establish network connectivity, manage physical storage, and perform basic security administration.

This course does not have a related exam, but is a 1st part of the RHCSA Certification.

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION II (RH134)

This course is aimed at students who are looking to become full-time enterprise Linux system administrators.

The RH134 course, is the second part of the core system administration tasks needed for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The course is a follow-up to System Administration I and continues to utilize today’s best-of-breed, contemporary teaching methodology. By the end of this course, students will be able to administer and troubleshoot file systems and partitioning, logical volume management, access control, package management.

RHCSA - Students who attend the RH124 and RH134 courses, will be fully prepared to take the EX200 exam, and achieve the Red Hat Certified System Administration (RHCSA) Certification.

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION III (RH254)

This course is aimed at students who already attended the Red Hat System Administration I and II courses, and who are looking for advanced networking and security administration skills.

The RH254 is an advanced course. It´s focus is placed on enhancing the students’ automation skills to securely configure, deploy and manage network services including DNS, Apache, SMTP, and network file sharing. In addition, this course emphasizes security, including monitoring, packet filtering, access controls, and SELinux. At the completion of this course, students already familiar with the RHCSA administration skills will have exposure to all competencies tested by the RHCSA and RHCE exams.

RHCE - Students who attend the RH254 course, will be fully prepared to take the EX300 exam, and achieve the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification.

RED HAT CLOUD PATH

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT OPENSTACK ADMINISTRATION (CL210)

This course is aimed at students who are looking to become full-time enterprise cloud systems administrators. This course is one of our emerging technology courses.

The CL210 course, will provide an overview of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform architecture. During this core Openstack course, students will learn how to install, configure, and maintain a cloud computing environment using Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform. The course builds on skills of the OS systems administrator and is one of our emerging and evolving technology courses. By the end of the course students will be able to deploy and administer cloud based infrastructure.

RHCSA in Red Hat OpenStack - Students who attend the CL210 course, will be fully prepared to take the EX210 exam, and achieve the Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat Openstack (RHCSA in OpenStack) Certification.

RED HAT APPLICATION ADMINISTRATION PATH

RED HAT APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PATH

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT JBOSS APPLICATION ADMINISTRATION I (JB248)

This course is aimed at students who have knowledge and skills as systems administrator in Microsoft Window, Unix, or Linux and are either new to Red Hat JBoss Middleware or have experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 5.

The JB248 is the core JBoss administration course. During this course, the students will learn to apply best practices for installation, configuration, and administration on JBoss Enterprise Application Platform. At the completion of this course students will have exposure to all competencies tested in the RHCJA exam.

RHCJA - Students who attend the JB248 course, will be fully prepared to take the EX248 exam, and achieve the Red Hat Certified JBoss Administrator (RHCJA) Certification

COURSE TITLE: RED HAT JBOSS ENTERPRISE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT I (JB225)

This course is aimed at students who have knowledge and skills in Java programming, HTML, XML. Basic knowledge of Ajax and Rotational Database Management Systems is recommended.

The JB225 is an advanced course. During this course, students will learn how to create, test, and maintain Java EE-compliant applications from start to finish using Eclipse-based Red Hat JBoss Developer Studio. At the completion of this course student will have exposure to all competencies tested in the RHCJD exam.

RHCJD - Students who attend the JB225 course, will be fully prepared to take the EX225 exam, and achieve the Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD) Certification.
