If you believe in a God and think you are rational, use this hypothesis to prove if you are. Start by assuming your God does not exist, and that your religion is fiction (as all Gods have religions man makes about them). This is your null hypothesis. Then look for validated evidence that definitively proves your assumptions are wrong. If you succeed you are rational and justified in your belief. If you fail you must stay with your assumptions until you, or others, can falsify them. This is logical reason. 1 Hypothesis means:

1. A tentative explanation for an observation, phenomenon, or scientific problem that can test by further investigation.

2. Something taken to be true for the purpose of argument or investigation; an assumption.

3. The antecedent of a conditional statement.2 “God” is used in the original hypothesis comparison, as it is easy to prove belief vs. fact, for what we know now. It should be noted we know only what we know and not what we do not know. This sounds simplistic but most trying to prove something use absolutes, of which there are none. Absolutism is part of society, and we “absolutely believe: -The earth is flat, until it is proven round, then perpendicular -A rock is hard; until Moeh’s Law of Density is sometime questioned and true hardness is defined in an entirely new way. -The company does X amount in sales, but if not audited by an impartial third party, with covenants as to what defines a sale, the X amount of sales is an assumption.

To argue or debate a “settlement” over loss of business due to an “obstruction or change” one must use the hypothesis of : What fact (or lack of fact) am I missing? Ex: “The oppositional model of tolerance based on a series of findings”. 3 If a retail store were located on corner X vs. corner Y, what would increase or decrease their sales? -ease of entry -ability for better parking -more signage that shows to the growing area Or is it the reverse of each of these? We are with hypothesis using theory and conjecture until we can empirically prove the basis of our hypothesis. Any dispute about value, money, or loss of value or potential can be best argued using The Rationality Hypothesis.
