THE PRO HUSTLE TOUR IS THE PINNACLE OF THE 3X3 HUSTLE CIRCUIT FOR THE SERIOUS MALE AND FEMALE BASKETBALLERS.In 2018, there will be three Pro Hustle tour events held in Australia. These events will be held on the following dates:

Pro Hustle 1 – April 21st and 22nd Pro Hustle 2 – May 5th and 6th Pro Hustle 3 – May 12th and 13th

The location of the Pro Hustle tour stops will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

PRO HUSTLE MEN (OPEN)Prize Money

There is $60k in prize money on offer for the Pro Hustle.

à Each Pro Hustle tour event has $10k on offer for the winner, and the runners-up will receive $5k.

à For the Pro Hustle tour champion there is an additional $10k, and $5k for the runner up.

FIBA Pro Tour

From the Pro Hustle there is no less than 10 opportunities to compete on FIBA’s Pro Tour.

à Each Pro Hustle event winner will receive automatic entry into a FIBA Challenger event.

à The Pro Hustle tour champions will receive an express pass to compete in a FIBA World Tour event in Asia, as well as a guaranteed spot in the FIBA Challenger event that will be staged in Australia

à The Pro Hustle tour runner-up will receive automatic entry into a FIBA Challenger event

à Each of the top 5 teams at the conclusion of the Pro Hustle tour will receive automatic entry to the FIBA Challenger event to be hosted in Australia over May 18th, 19th, 20th.

Teams

If you want a taste of the prize money and the FIBA Pro Tour opportunities available, there are two ways to be a part of the 16 teams that will take part in each of the Pro Hustle events:

1. Win one of the eight Big Hustle events around Australia, as eight places at each of the Pro Hustle events will be reserved for Big Hustle teams.


2. If you think you have a team capable of winning the prize money and gaining a spot on the FIBA Pro Tour, you can buy your way into the Pro Hustle tour. There are only eight places available for teams to buy a place at the Pro Hustle, so for more information, please contact hq@3x3hustle.

European Competition and Training Camp

FIBA do not currently operate a Women’s Pro Tour, however the Pro Hustle tour champion and runner-up will receive an opportunity to travel to Europe to train with and compete against top European women’s teams.

1. Win one of the eight Big Hustle events around Australia as 8 places at each of the Pro Hustle events will be reserved for Big Hustle teams.

2. If you think you have a team capable of winning the prize money and the trip to Europe, you can buy your way into the Pro Hustle tour. There are only four places available for teams to buy into the Women’s Pro Hustle, so for more information, please contact hq@3x3hustle.

PRO HUSTLE U18SAt the 3rd Pro Hustle event, the most successful u18 teams from the Big Hustle events will be invited to play in national final. More information on this event will be detailed in the coming weeks on 3x3hustle.com

BIG HUS TLE

IN 2018, THERE WILL BE A BIG HUSTLE EVENT STAGED IN EACH AUSTRALIAN STATE AND TERRITORY THROUGHOUT FEBRUARY, MARCH AND APRIL.Dates for these events will be announced over the coming weeks on 3x3hustle.com. To be notified of any announcement, register your details at 3x3hustle.com.

Each Big Hustle will cater for u14, u16, u18 and Open males and females.

For aspiring open men and women this is also an opportunity to claim one of eight guaranteed places at each event of the Pro Hustle tour.

For the u18s, the highest placed teams from the eight Big Hustle events will be invited to compete in a national final during the 3rd Pro Hustle tour event (to be held on May 12th and 13th, location TBC).

For u14 and u16 teams, this is the culmination of all the hard work and is your chance to make your mark in 3x3 as you play for the prestige of becoming a Big Hustle champion.

In its very first season, each Big Hustle event will have a different number of teams competing, and registration for each event will be different for each.

Details of how to register will be provided upon announcement of the events.

To improve your chances of qualifying for automatic entry into the Pro Hustle tour, enter your team into as many Big Hustle events as you chose, as there is no restriction on the number you can participate in.


URBA N HUS TLE

2018


THE URBAN HUSTLE WILL BE A SERIES OF SHOWPIECE EVENTS HELD IN SUBURBAN AND REGIONAL CENTRES BETWEEN MID-2018 AND JANUARY 2019.A central part of the overall 3x3 Hustle series, the Urban Hustle is a key qualifying pathway to the Big Hustle – which will feature eight events to be held in 2019.

At each Urban Hustle event there will be categories for u14, 16, u18 and Open male and female teams. However, the number of teams may vary at each event.

There is no restriction on the number of Urban Hustle events a team can enter, thereby improving its chances of qualifying for the Big Hustle.

Qualification for the Urban Hustle will come through competing in Street Hustle events.


S TREE T HUS TLE

STREET HUSTLE EVENTS WILL BE SMALLER IN SIZE AND OPERATED BY BASKETBALL ASSOCIATIONS OR PRIVATE OPERATORSThey will be held throughout the year (commencing April/May), and are perfect for a range of players, including:

à Juniors and seniors starting out in the game of 3x3

à those wanting regular 3x3 game play to improve their skills

à those wanting to play socially with friends

à those wanting to start their journey through to the more competitive Urban, Big and Pro Hustle events.

There will be two levels of Street Hustle: Elite and Baller level.

ELITEStreet Hustle ‘Elite’ events are for teams hoping to progress to the more competitive Urban Hustle events, or teams that are wanting to test their skills against serious 3x3 players.

Street Hustle ‘Elite’ events will be held from April/May in any given year through to December, so as to provide opportunities for players to win through to Urban Hustle events.

BALLERFor teams that want regular match play to improve their 3x3 skills, or simply wish to play socially with mates, Street Hustle ‘Baller’ events are the ones to watch out for. These events can may be one-offs, or in series, league style, format. Street Hustle ‘Baller’ events will be held all year round.
