1.3.3 FINALS FORMATThe premiership playoff will be conducted over two consecutive mornings and will be played in accordance with the Rules for a two day match.

Where the Executive Committee calls off play on the first day of the final, or where the umpires deem no play is possible on the first day because of the state of the ground, play on the second day shall be under the rules for a one day game (See Rule 2.22).

In the case of a two day match, play will commence at 8.30 am on each morning and conclude no later than 12.00 noon. (In the case of a one day match the hours of play shall be in accordance with Rule 2.4).

A minimum of 40 overs per side (Under 12 to Under 16), 30 overs per side (Under 11) and 12 overs per side (Under 10) will be required to make a match.

To be eligible for finals, a player must have participated in a minimum of three competition matches with the team contesting the premiership, or have contested a minimum of three lower age group matches for the same Club.

If no result is achieved from the playoff match due to bad weather, state of pitch/ground etc., the team with the higher points, or if equal, the higher quotient will be declared the winner of the competition. In the event of a tie in any final, the finalists shall be declared joint premiers.

Note: The Executive Committee reserves the right to decide finals format at the commencement of the season, taking into consideration registration numbers.

2.6 SUBSTITUTES2.6 Substitutes (Law 2)Provided they are registered players of the Association, and qualified by age, up to three (3) substitutes may take the field at any time, at the discretion of the fielding team.A substitute cannot bat, bowl or keep wicket. The Umpire must be notified before a substitute player enters the field of play. The requirements of Law 2 in relation to absences from the field of greater than fifteen (15) minutes shall be observed at all times.Fielding teams that do not have 11 players to take the field MUST be offered fielders from the batting team to bring the fielding team to 11 players. The maximum numbers of substitute fielders that can be offered is 3.
