The Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA) is the only instrument capable of measuring Corneal Hys-teresis (CH); an indication of the biomechani-cal properties of the cornea. This information is different from thickness or topography, which are geometrical attributes of the cornea. Cor-neal Hysteresis represents a tissue property, which provides more comprehensive informa-tion about ocular biomechanics. There are over 400 publications about the Reichert Ocular Response Analyzer in peer-reviewed literature.

The Corneal Hysteresis measurement has been shown to be consistently associated with, or predictive of, rate of glaucoma visual field pro-gression.

In addition, corneal biomechanics are the pri-mary influence on tonometer accuracy. Ocular Response Analyzer’s ability to measure Corneal

Hysteresis enables the device to provide cor-neal compensated IOP, called IOPcc, which has been proven to be less influenced by corneal properties than Goldmann or other methods of tonometry.

Not only do Premier Ophthalmic have the largest service team in the midwest, we also have the hardest working team too! So when disaster strikes and your equipment fails you can depend on us to get you back up and running as quickly as possible.

We are always willing to immediately look after you when you need it most. Our ser-vice team repair over 90% of lane equipment failures onsite and for those occasions that need off site repair we also have a complete range of loaner equipment to keep you tick-ing over.

But why wait until your equipment fails! Premier Ophthalmic can do full preventa-tive maintenance on your lane equipment to make sure it stays in working order. We can also pinpoint where equipment may fail in the future and advise an approprate course of action such as replacing defective parts.

We have a specialized in-house team that looks after phoroptor overhauls. This in-cludes disassembling the phoroptor, clean-ing all lenses and all moving parts. We then degrease and re-lube all bearings and repair any mis-alignment issues, reassemble and quality test. Each phoroptor overhaul is quality checked by two technicians and also comes with a 3 month warranty. We can ei-

ther overhaul phoroptors onsite or provide you with loaners while we overhaul them at our service facility in Frankfort, IL.
