“Our mission is to empower luxury travelers — whether a couple, family, or corporate group — to live out their
diverse passions through exceptional, life-changing experiences that we design and deliver.”
5
Excursionist was founded in 2010 by three friends who immigrated
to North America from various corners of the world and developed a
dedication to sharing this continent’s rich history, nature, cuisine
and culture with others.
Identifying a gap in the marketplace for a true luxury-focused destination
management company for the United States, Canada and the Caribbean, we have
built an organization that not only has geographical breadth across our territory, but
also an intense depth of local knowledge in each destination where we work. We
achieve this by bringing to bear our diverse expertise in the industry, as well as our
personal relationships in the sciences, arts, education, government and business.
While we are a small boutique organization of travel and product managers in Miami,
we have built an extensive and direct network of over 800 local tour guides, drivers,
naturalists, scientists and other experts, and have never worked through middlemen
or other DMCs. We are proud to work only business-to-business (B2B) with the finest
luxury and experiential travel agencies, concierge companies, private travel designers,
corporations and tour operators in the world that entrust us with their clients.
We focus on delivering the highest level of customer service, expertise, safety
and customization possible in the industry. Our mission is to empower luxury
travelers — whether a couple, family, or corporate group — to live out their diverse
passions through exceptional, life-changing experiences that we design and
deliver. Whether it is seeing a polar bear face-to-face in Manitoba, jamming with
a jazz musician in New Orleans or meeting a cutting-edge contemporary artist
in Los Angeles, we seek to leave a lasting impression on your clients of these
exceptional destinations that are so close to our hearts.

who love soft, white-sand beaches. There
are 40 different islands and cays to visit
that all have calm, warm waters perfect for a
leisurely swim.
DOMINICAThe water of Dominica’s Boiling Lake is
literally always bubbling. See the massive
hot spring on a hike through the national
park, in which striking waterfalls punctuate
the sprawling rainforest of this mountainous
island. Without any beaches to write home
about, this island has remained the most
pristine in the Caribbean.
ST. VINCENT + THE GRENADINESThis Caribbean gem has 32 islands and cays
with endless opportunities for experiencing
the water by sailboat or yacht. Plus, the
“Vincy” people are fun and hospitable, and
home-brewed beer is a fantastic part of daily
life on the island.
PUERTO RICOOne of the most sought-after destinations
in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico is home to a
remarkably well-preserved Spanish quarter,
El Yunque, the only tropical rainforest in the
United Sates National Forest System and the
world’s most brilliant bioluminescent bays.
