It was a good day. The weather was kind, and although we were a couple of Pies short of

a full tray, the Wags lent us some of theirs to make up.

And we did well too, winning all three of our draws.

The day was the first outing for new Pies Luka, Andy and Bede (who was our Pie of the

Day). Good to have you on board, fellas.

Pies Wayne and Kevin grapple in the tight, while Pie Andy

(test-driving the controversial new alternative Pies strip) looks on

Pie Captain for the Day, Wayne Tacon, spoke well for our lot, and awarded Pie of the

Day to new Pie Bede, making his first appearance. Outstanding stuff Bede.

There was one more notable Pie performance to come. Pie Blair stepped up for the team

to do some karaoke, performing the Commodores’ “Easy”.
