WISHING WELL FOR APRIL – MISSION TRIP GIFT CARDS
On April 17th, 13 of our members will be boarding a 15 passenger van and departing from
DMLC for a one week Appalachian Adult Mission Project to Harlan, Kentucky. They will be
traveling to a region with a culture very different from our own and will be God’s hands and
feet to those living in one of the poorest regions of the country. Remodeling people’s
homes, serving at a “Soup Kitchen” and educational experiences every night are some of
the plans for our members. You may support this mission trip by:
Making a Cash donation to purchase Gas Cards
Purchasing Visa Gift Cards to be used for building supplies
Praying for our members to have a safe and memorable experience while
doing our Lord’s work
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!
URGENT!!! Bags/Boxes of Brownberry Stuffing
We are in great need of this item. The stuffing is needed to keep our volunteers busy preparing
their “special turkey dressing” to accompany the turkey meal that is served once a month at St.
Ben’s in Milwaukee. Your donation will help DMLC continue to feed a warm meal to those less
fortunate. Your donation can be placed in our kitchen in Fellowship Hall. Many thanks for your
consideration.
COFFEE HOUR
We still have two openings for serving coffee hour, May 15th and May 22nd. If your group has not served the last few
months, please talk it over and feel free to sign up on the sheet on the back table in the Sanctuary. I PROMISE I will
not bother you again until Fall. After May 22nd there will be no coffee hour throughout the summer. This will give every-
one a much needed break. Thank you so very much for faithfully showing up on Sunday mornings and getting those
coffee pots on, preparing and serving your favorite goodies and cleaning up after. It is much appreciated by all who
attend coffee hour.

Present: Heidi Teuteberg, Dale Reich, Erik Hayes, John
Wick, Gordon Fleury, and Pastor Larry Harpster.
Absent: John Costigan.
In the absence of President John Costigan, the meeting
was called to order at 6:30 p.m.and conducted by Pastor
Larry.
After welcoming new members Heidi and Dale (elected),
and John (appointed), members introduced themselves
to the Council.
John, serving as newly-appointed treasurer, gave the
financial report. A discussion followed regarding new and
possibly better ways to structure the report in order to
make it more understandable. John will seek to restruc-
ture the report for the next meeting.
An Easter worship schedule was approved. Last year,
three services were held, but one was very poorly at-
tended. This year, Easter services will be held at 8:30
and 10:30 a.m., with breakfast in between.
The following officers were nominated and approved:
James Costigan, president; Erik Hayes, vice president;
John Wick, treasurer; and Dale Reich, secretary.
Approval was given for the use of church facilities for
Teens Encounter Christ on the following dates: July 22-
23 and Aug. 4-7.
Pastor Larry reminded Council members of the weekly
dinner and discussion ("Tough Questions for God") each
Wed. evening before Lenten services.
Approval was given for the date of March 17 as the next
scheduled meeting of the Council.
After each member expressed both gratitude and con-
cerns, Pastor Larry closed the meeting with prayers.
Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Dale Reich, secretary
