Sprint is Back!
All four networks in 2016 are now competitive, and with Sprint’s 50% off offer our network is a great choice for consumers.
The only category where we lagged was in upload speed, which brought down our overall scores. But our lower upload speed is by design. We know our customers use far more downlink vs uplink, so our network is specifically built to support this, making more efficient use of our spectrum with less capacity dedicated to uploads.
So what does all of this mean for customers? We’re proud of these PC Mag results. We still have much work to do, particularly in markets such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Tucson, Oklahoma City and others.
» We clearly see that the deployment of more 2.5 GHz sites using carrier aggregation has had a significant impact on our performance, but those places without broad 2.5 coverage still struggle.
» We’re working to bring more cell site solutions online, targeting gaps and those areas where capacity is most needed.
