THE PHILOSOPHIES & RELIGIONS OF INDIA AHL3900 This 3.5 week travel-study course will provide an immersion into India's extraordinary religious and philosophical vibrancy by engaging with the people, texts, and sacred sites on north India. It will place a special focus on the religious and philosophical traditions of Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism. Our travels will include the ancient Hindu city of Varanasi, a boat ride along the sacred Ganges river, visits to the Buddhist pilgrimage site of Sarnath, the Sikh Golden Temple of Amritsar, Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh, and ancient Hindu and Jain temples throughout north India. The course will include daily meditation practices. *A visit to the Taj Mahal will be organized, if there is sufficient group interest. COURSE DESCRIPTION May 15-June 7

THE PHILOSOPHIES & RELIGIONS OF INDIAAHL3900

This 3.5 week travel-study course will provide an
