School of Business

A Governmental Meet & Greet

Thursday, April 12, 2018 ♦ 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Mississippi College ♦ School of Business

Second Floor, Self Hall

Please join Mississippi College School of Business and the Jackson Chapter of the Association of Government

Accountants at a Reception to connect MC Accounting students and Business Leaders from local City, County,

State and Federal Governments.

Many students are unaware of the vast career opportunities in government financial management. This “Meet &

Greet” Reception is an opportunity to connect students with government business leaders who have a passion for

public service and may help draw great talent into government as a career.

There is no cost for you to attend, but a RSVP is requested so we may adequately prepare food for the reception.

As a side benefit, you may use this time to “informally” recruit accounting students to work in your governmental

entity. Feel free to share business cards and literature on your agencies. We will even have a few tables available

for a display if you wish. Whether or not you have any open positions, please come to meet and encourage some

of MC’s best and brightest students. This is a great time for you to help share your passion for government

service with the next generation.

Please RSVP to Billy Morehead, Professor of Accountancy, at 601-925-7742 or email at [email protected] by
