• Kino goes out to watch the dawn break.• Juana goes about her domestic chores:

• The neighbors go about their routine.• Kino eats his breakfast first followed by

Juana.

- Kino & Juana see a scorpion moving slowly down the rope.- Coyotito shakes the rope and falls on his shoulder.- Kino catches the scorpion and smashes it into a paste.- Juana tries to suck the poison out of the sting.- Juana asks the doctor but the neighbors told her that the doctor will not come. - Juana wants to meet the Doctor.- The doctor refuse to give a treatment because they doesn’t has money.
