NORTON BOX
The Norton box is a mechanism formed of several gears for to fix the steps of the pieces to thread. (cut a screw).
LARGE STONE BENCHThis is a piece made of foundry, very rigid and robust with internal ribbing. In your higher part carry the guides for the cars. To your left are find the principal head and to the right the conterpoint.
LONGITUDINAL CORRIEGEIt Comprising the compound carriage, carrying tools and apron. Since the carriage supports and guides the cutting tool, it must be rigid and built with precision. It is moves on guides of the bench printing advancing movement to the tool
CROSS SLIDEThe cross slide provides a motion perpendicular to the longitudinal carriage, and the tool can have a sideways movement as a result of the composition of the longitudinal and transverse.
SPLINDEThe splinde is a long and threaded bar, located below the bed guides extending from the head to the counterpoint. It is engaged to the head so that its rotation can be reversed and adjusted to the longitudinal.
tailstockIt is mount on the guides of the large stone bench. Your function are support the pieces that rotate when this are very long.
Spindle speed selector
The spindle speed selector allows the operator to adjust the spindle speed of the machine.
Motor Start ButtonThe motor start button starts the electric drive motor for the machine. The motor start button does not control the spindle however, it does supply the power.
