Life SkillsLife skills is a component that pursues to complement the academic training received by the programme´s participants in higher education institutions, providing tools in order to facilitate their labour and social integration through enhancing and developing noncognitive skills and transversal competences.

25 thousand participants have improved self-knowing, dealing with emotions, decision-making process, creativity and con�ict resolutions skills, thanks to the life skills workshops conducted in 2014.

During 2015 the curricular design for the component was developed, it includes three modules Virtual (conceptual approach through online courses), On-site (emphasis on labour dimension – eight workshops) and experiential (autonomous process via trainee contract and internships)

The methodology uses eight “voluntary” workshops using an experiential method, including the following areas:

In order to attend 79,300 programme´s participants in 2016, the programme has four

periods, the �rst one was developed during February to April, where 23 thousand

participants apply for the workshops through the registration platform

http://hpvjea.prosperidadsocial.gov.co and 86% of them were certi�ed (19,825)

with an 80% of attendance.
