Dear Colleague,
I am delighted to bring the 7th edition of the AgReturn Investment Conference to Miami. Join us for three full days of senior level discussion focused on agriculture investment opportunities in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), and how best to take advantage of this rapidly growing sector. For the first time we are including a Infrastructure Investment Forum focusing on the many opportunities to invest in much-needed infrastructure in the region.
According to the USDA, LAC has 123 million hectares of uncultivated land, with 76% of that having less than 6 hours of travel time to market. This fact alone makes the region stand out among emerging and growth markets as one of the most attractive and obvious targets for foreign investment in agriculture and infrastructure, promising mammoth potential for growth, an inflation hedge and steady returns for savvy investors.
Diversifying the portfolio through vertical investments in the expansive food and ag export sector in Latin America and the Caribbean will provide opportunity for significant gains in farmland assets, food processing, transportation and storage infrastructure, as well as marketing to global markets. Environmental stewardship, which has always been the underlying theme at the AgReturn conferences, will be ever more important as investors and operators discuss how to avoid the
pitfalls of the United States and other mature markets in the 20th Century while coping with such exponential growth in the 21st.
AgReturn Latin America will bring together hundreds of investors, farmland managers, policy makers and agribusiness professionals representing the Americas, Caribbean, Europe, and beyond. The program offers insight and analysis, “investment-ready” opportunities, risk management solutions, strategy discussion, foreign investment regulation analysis, and unrivaled networking with the preeminent group of like-minded professionals who see Latin America as the best opportunity for responsible investment to propel food production, feed a growing global population and capitalize on a probable windfall.
Espero contar con su presencia en Miami!
Estou ansioso para vê-lo em Miami!
I look forward to seeing you in Miami!
Sincerely,Kate WestfallConference Director – AgReturn
