Week 5. Home Hill Kid’s Club started this week on Tuesday, “Reach for the Stars” is the theme of this year’s Harvest Festival. Kid’s Club was a busy time of games and decorating for the float. (Some lunch times too) This will be the 11th year that we have entered a float in the parade. We have won a category 9 times, the pressure is on!! Home Hill Kid’s Club is supported from volunteers from 5 local Churches and our wonderful Mrs Wright and Mrs Vass. 45 children participated. Any questions please contact Chappie Gwen on 0409136415. Wednesday the 6th of November, 2 great events took place. The Harvest Festival Pet Show at Watson’s Green was a keen menagerie of pets and costumes. Our School had many “pet” family members on display. Congratulations to all. Also on Wednesday evening the Colls Memorial Featurette District final took place at HHSS. Sienna Prescott and Adam Patane proudly represented our School. Adam spoke about “Schools must provide more outside activities” and Sienna spoke on “Australia day must not be changed”. There were 11 Speakers from 6 district Schools and all were commended on delivering excellent speeches. Well done Sienna and Adam. Chappy Twisters will be on sale at the Harvest Festival. See you about our Great School! Kindest Regards, Chappie Gwen
