This month we will have a discussion regarding SharePoint 2013. Next, we will hear about a new risk assessment tool from Security, then dive into the general OIS updates. Following that, we will hear about Windows Updates, imaging, and a desktop alert application. Next up, we will learn about mobile printing on campus. Finally, we will close out with an open discussion/Q&A session.

• My Sites (personal sites) went live on March 14, 2014. You can access them by directing your browser to http://utsacloud-my.sharepoint.com/.

• The default quota is 250MB, but it can be increased.

• OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) – This is a document library seen from within your My Sites and Team Sites.

• The disk quota is 25GB.• OneDrive can be configured to synchronize files between multiple

locations. Download the sync client from your OneDrive site.• .

SharePoint 2013 Presenter – Brent League (Slide 2)

• The ability to create NEW Team Sites will be announced on Monday, March 24, 2014.

• The URL will be https://utsacloud.sharepoint.com/sites/oit/dc, etc. where OIT and DC are dependent on your department and a sub site name.

• The default quota is 15GB and can also be increased.

• Currently evaluating a tool to migrate EXISTING Team Sites to SharePoint 2013.
