LAST SUMMERLast summer, I went camping almost the entire summer. I was also in a web commercial for the Cambridge Centre which was really exciting. Other than that, I didn’t really do anything. I had a really boring summer.
BEGINNING OF THE YEARI loved the beginning of the year. I had so much fun. Everyone at GCI was so nice and welcoming. The dance season also started. I started dancing a lot more than I did last year, and I continued to teach modelling and dance.
FIRST SEMESTERI had English, math, food and nutrition, and gym last semester. I liked English even though I’m horrible at it. All my other classes were good; I did a lot better in those classes than I did in English. One of my favourite parts of first semester was doing fashion show.
CHRISTMAS BREAKI had a really good Christmas break. I spent most of it with all of my family at my grandparents’ house. I also found out that my Aunt Coleen was pregnant on Christmas break.
EXAM WEEK I studied a lot for exams. I wasn’t nervous for my math exam, but I was really nervous for English.
SECOND SEMESTERSecond semester I had science, french , BTT, and geography. French and BTT are easy, but science and geography are a lot harder.
MARCH BREAKI had a decent march break. I watched a lot of netflix, and rented a lot of movies. I was supposed to go to Ripley’s aquarium in Toronto, but the weather was bad, so we got half way there, and we had to turn around and go home. It sucked.
END OF SECOND SEMESTERWe haven’t had the end of this semester yet, so I don’t know how it will go.

YEAR IN REVIEWOverall, I’ve had a really good first year at GCI. I’ve made so many new friends and I’ve become so much closer with so many people.
