What is social networking?

A social networking service is a platform to build social networks or social relations among people who, for example, share interests, activities, backgrounds or real-life connections.

The number of teenagers use social networking

According to the report, 95 percent of teens (12 – 17) use the internet, and 81 percent of them use social media sites. Facebook is by far the most heavily adopted social site, with 94 percent of social media teens reporting they have a profile there.

Addicted social networking

Facebook is among one of the most addicting (and therefore concerning) social networks. Nearly a quarter of Facebook users check their accounts five times or more per day.
