A Triumph for You?Just in case Mr. Sarcasm’s

acquisition of a new Triumph Trophy SE gets you thinking in that direction, you’re in luck!

Our friends over at Fun Bike Center in Lakeland are now an authorized Triumph dealer and they are carrying the full line of Triumph motorcycles available for sale in the USA.

While Mr. Sarcasm was fortunate enough to snap up the only available Trophy SE at the moment, more are on the way according to Dave Dorsch at Fun Bike Center.

In addition to the Trophy SE, Fun Bike Center has an assortment of Triumph sport bikes, cruisers, and modern retro bikes to choose from.

The Navigator’s RidesThe British Are Coming!Mr. Sarcasm has taken delivery of a new Triumph Trophy SE

Saturday, May 11, 2013 - This morning our good friend, Mr. Sarcasm, rode up to our rendezvous spot astride his recently acquired Triumph Trophy SE. What a beauty she is, too!

Resplendent in British Blue the new Triumph has triumphed

over both the Kawasaki Concours 14 and the Ninja ZX-14R as those spectacular bikes were surrendered in favor of the Triumph.

TRIUMPH TROPHY SE - REVEALED

Designed with obsessive attention to detail, the 1215cc 3-cylinder shaft drive Trophy SE gives you the torque, performance and handling for a sublime riding experience.

Whatever the distance, you’ll cover it in style and comfort; the generous,

luxury seats and ergonomically designed riding position mean the miles melt away barely noticed.

The road becomes part of the bike, the bike part of you. The journey is not the way to where you want to go; it’s where you want

to be.

REUNITING WITH GOOD FRIENDS LONG ABSENT

We all knew that Lloyd was supposed to join us this week for our usual round of riding and socializing, but everyone was surprised by the appearance of the legendary and seemingly disappeared Bryan!

As it turns out, Bryan has not been quietly living in Lloyd’s basement since last we saw him, he has actually relocated to Central Florida once again and has even started and quit a new job since his arrival.

Lloyd is still astride his faithful Burgmann Executive and Bryan still rides that gorgeous DL 1000 he picked up last year. Judging by their performance during the days ride, both men are getting in some quality ride time as they ran with

the pack through roads both known and unknown to them.

It was great seeing both Bryan and Lloyd and having this chance to reconnect and catch up with them and all of their activities. Having them along on the ride seemed to add an extra dose of fun to the mix.

Bryan is still doing things his way and taking life as it comes like the hero from an adventure novel.

Lloyd reports that he loves his new home in northern Georgia and is doing a lot of camping since acquiring a new RV.

Lloyd returns home early next week and we all hope to see him again in the months to come.

Bryan has a standing invite to join us for our weekly rides.

FANTASY OF FLIGHT - LESSON OF THE DAY - COCKPITS

Top: Lloyd arriving for breakfast. Bottom: Bryan surveys the crowd upon arriving at Fun Bike Center.

HOW DID BILL DISAPPEAR INTO THE MUSEUM SO QUICKLY?!He has an annual pass! As often as we find ourselves stopping at Fantasy of Flight, it makes sense to get one for yourself so you, too, can access the collection and the ramp any time we visit. For $70 you get one year unlimited access and discounts at over 20 other Florida attractions. Bill used it for half-off at Bok Tower Gardens, as an example.

Throttle quadrant. Makes things go faster or slower.

Tells you what’s about to hit you in case you want to try to avoid running into it. Not effective for avoiding impact with the ground!

Rudder pedals. I guess you could call them “tail shakers”, too, as they make the tail of the plane wiggle left and right.

Dials and gauges to tell you how well you’re flying the plane...or not!

The steering wheel that’s really called a yoke. Makes the plane go up, down, and all around.

A bunch of switches that look cool, but don’t really do a whole lot...except start the engines and minor stuff like that.

FANTASY OF FLIGHT - QUICK SNAPS

While most everyone else was taking full advantage of a “comfort stop”, Bill found time to wander through the collection at Fantasy of Flight to snap a few photos. Here are a few highlights of what was on display at the time of Bill’s ramblings:

The “Apache Princess” was parked on the ramp looking like she was fueled and ready to go.

This exotic, sleek, and very fast “Gee Bee Racer” was parked near the hangar door.

An Autogiro just waiting for Bill to take a few laps in it.

Talk about old school flying machines! This thing is very “Wright Flyer”-esque in design.

Cool WWI warbird. A new restoration project for the collection.

BREAKFAST HIGHLIGHTS - THE FUN BEGINS!

What’s riding without the men and their machines? Roaring engines, deep lean angles, screaming tires, and twisty roads combine to make our outings all the more enjoyable. Today’s riders took full advantage of all the elements of a good ride to make memories and further cement our bond as men who just do it!

The gathering. We took control of the street parking in front of Snellgrove’s.

Greg and Robert were tired of standing around and were ready to start the breakfast rituals.

Our Vice-President of International Diplomacy ensured that our Hong Kong connection was up.

Our faithful and favorite server Dana was on her toes and made sure we were taken care of.

Our special guests for the day. Great to see both Bryan (L) and Lloyd (R).

Gunny was all like, “What the hell is up with you and that damn camera!?!”

RIDING HIGHLIGHTS - RIDERS & THEIR MACHINES

What’s riding without the men and their machines? Roaring engines, deep lean angles, screaming tires, and twisty roads combine to make our outings all the more enjoyable. Today’s riders took full advantage of all the elements of a good ride to make memories and further cement our bond as men who just do it!

Bryan astride his Suzuki V-Strom DL-1000 Adventure.

Lloyd and his Burgmann Executive. Not sure if he’s trying to tell me to knock it off, or what!?!

Boyd’s new Triumph Trophy SE looks good from every angle. You should see it in the lean!

Eddie astride “Battlestar Galactica”. Just think, in a month he’s headed for Alaska on that bike!

The crew stopped at Cass Road and Old Mulberry Road after a nice jaunt past the groves.

Boyd and the Trophy SE head into the curves of Cass Road. Good times ahead!

THE TRIUMPH OF MR. SARCASM - HE’S ALL IN!

One thing about our friend Boyd, when he does something he does it al the way. The acquisition of his new Triumph Trophy SE is a case in point. Just follow along below to get the full feel of what it’s like when Mr. Sarcasm gets a new toy:

First of all, there’s the bike. A gorgeous British Blue Trophy SE and the only one in town!

Then there’s the matching hat and t-shirt to advertise the new brand loyalty.

And it’s the good stuff, too! Just look at the stitching in the logo on that hat, will you!

There’s also the matching mesh leather riding jacket that goes over the brand t-shirt.

Here we see Boyd demonstrating the Triumph rider’s triumphant riding posture.

And, for those accessories not yet added, there is the parts counter at the dealership.
