Some TAC achievements


Sea Level TAC Providing multi-mission altimeter data

4 altimeter satellites during the whole Myocean

FO period

=> SL-TAC system is the only one handling this

constellation in real time (unique worldwide !!)

=> implies a lot of effort ( X4 ) in the day to day

management of the constellation

Next challenge is to handle also Jason-3

and Sentinel-3, (possibly 6 missions in the

system)

OSI TAC Sea Ice Implementing Sentinel-1a SAR data

Improved coverage by S-1a

→ better mapping of ice

edge and especially ice

drift.

3-day mosaic of S-1a data,

6-8 January 2015 →

Ice drift from S-1a (green

vectors) and from Arctic

MFC analysis (red vectors).

Adding S-1b in 2016 will

dramatically improve ice

monitoring capability.
