This artistic collaboration brings together a literary artist with a visual artist and composer to create one of the most comprehensive orchestral works written about Florida history based on the paintings of the Legendary Florida Collection. Legendary Florida Historic Portrait in Sound written for the collection will include musical movements inspired by Florida history battles, Seminole and African American Heritage, the Florida frontier and the natural beauty of the Sunshine State. This program is made possible by the Florida Humanities Council, community sponsors and the Legendary Florida Society.
