The Sanctuary is a Holy Place. Let us continue to reverence God in His house. Cell

phones should be turned off and put away. When we come together on Sunday, we set

this time aside specifically to direct our attention to God. All other communication

(via voice & text messaging) should be handled after worship services have con-

cluded.

*The Importance of Punctuality*

The time to arrive at Church is before service starts. Worship Service begins promptly

at 10:45 a.m. Be sure that young children are taken to the restroom before the service

begins, or before you enter the sanctuary. If a child, or adult must leave during the

sermon, upon returning to service, he/she should take a seat near the back, or in the

foyer until service has concluded. After service begins, late-comers (or those already

seated) are never to walk during the Public Prayer, Scripture Readings,

During the Sermon, or When The Doors Of The Church Are Open.

Announcements - April 28, 2013 Mark Your Calendars

Today after service there will be a Pre-College Planning Workshop given by Tanya Lunda from the University of Akron Office of Student Financial Aid. There will be Scholarship information and information on Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

It is again time to honor our students for their Academic Accom-plishments. Please turn in your report cards by Wednesday THIS WEEK. We will be giving out the awards next Sunday, May 5th. Just remember the student must be present to receive the award, and no awards will be given without a turned in report card.

If you did not get a chance to purchase a DVD of the Reunion Con-cert they will be available today after service in the foyer.

The Women of Virtue will sponsor their Annual Mothers Day Lunch-eon on Saturday, May 11th at 11:00-1:30 at Guy’s Party Center, 500 Waterloo Road. Tickets are available TODAY; the cost $25.00 for adults, children 10 and under is $10.00. Sis Staci Freeman, and Sis.

There will be a Bradley Miles Scholarship meeting on Tuesday, April 30,

2013 at 6:30 p.m. All that are interested in working on this committee

please come out. All scholarship applications are due on Tuesday as

The Mighty Men of New Hope have begun collecting items for the Ronald McDonald House again. There are two boxes in the foyer for these items. There is a list on the box as well as on the bulletin board for the needed items. If you have any questions please see Bro. Eddie Bronston.

The Mission Outreach Ministry is planning a “Build Day” with Habi-tat for Humanity this summer. If you are interested in showing off your building skills, sign up with Sis. Brandi Davis after service.

The New Hope Polo Shirts and Hoodies order will be placed tomor-row April 29th. If you are interested, please place your order today in the office. The Money is due when the order is placed. Thank you for your cooperation.
