GET READY FOR DISCIPLE NIGHTS!

As a church, our mission statement is: that We are a Christ centered community drawn

together by the Holy Spirit to express, expand, and experience God’s love through Jesus Christ! One way to challenge and motivate us to live out our mission is by investing in ourselves to grow spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Wednesday Disciple Nights begin September 11, 6-8pm

o The Story of Reality: How the World Began, How it Ends, and Everything Important In-between, by Gregory

Koukle. A foundational bible study on the whole bible focusing on God, Man, Jesus, Cross and Resurrection.

o Financial Peace class by Dave Ramsey in a potential workshop

o We Are the Church... Let’s Act Like It, by Linda T Pevey, a study on the Book of Acts

o A Firm Foundation: a study by multiple authors with a variety of theological essays around the classic Christian

faith: The Lordship of Jesus Christ, Authority of Scripture, The Power of the Holy Spirit, Discipleship,

Sanctification and more.

As a Christ centered community we are called to more than an hour in weekly worship, more than serving in ministry in

outreach, but also to invest time in community and in committed studies so that we can deepen our experience and knowledge of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. So that we grow and mature in our faith and seek to expand the good news in a variety ways that God calls us. So that we can express our love of God by personally and corporately seeking God’s will in the way we live and in the way we are the Church to our community and the world!

Sunday School for the adults will also begin in September as another way to grow with others in discussions, bible

studies, and prayer! We continue to serve and feed the homeless and those in need monthly at St. Vincent de Paul and a variety of ways to invest in our youth through mentoring, helping with Sunday school, confirmation and fund raising!

Our Crock Pot ministry also begins with Disciple Night - Please sign up to bring a Crock Pot Meal monthly for the

classes. Together we are the church and together we are the Body of Christ! Together we are brothers and sisters of Christ

and part of God’s eternal kingdom! Pastor Cherie
