Did you know? In all that she did, St. Teresa of Avila wished to keep intact the heritage of Carmel. Its devotion to our Lady of Mount Carmel was faithfully kept and reinvigorated. She bequeathed to her followers her own affinity with the biblical forerunners, the great prophets and fathers of Carmel. She went back to the genuine spirit of the Rule of St. Albert and infused its observance with a fresh apostolic impetus.
Lord, hear our prayers… The Little Flower community prayer list is open! Contact the ad-ministration office to have names added to the prayer list.

General Information
Summer Issue of the Apostolate of the Little Flower Magazine
Are you interested in exploring more about Carmelite spirituality this summer? The Apostolate of the Little Flower is a nonprofit publication and ministry of the Discalced Carmelite Friars of San Antonio. Its purpose is to spread devotion to St. Thérèse of Lisieux, “The Little Flower,” and to support Little Flower Ba-silica’s restoration project.
First published in 1920 as the Little Flower Magazine, the Apostolate of the Little Flower was integral to build-ing the Basilica as it stands today. Through the maga-zine the friars spread devotion to St. Thérèse across the country.
