GRADUATION CEREMONY – GRADE 7 CLASS OF 2019
"The Most Beautiful Thing about learning is that no one
can take it away from you.”
The Staff and Students of Grade 6 hosted the Graduation Ceremony for the
Students of Grade 7 – class of 2019.
The event was graced by Sheikh Ali Azim Shirazi, Director of Islamic Religious
Education (IRE) and Head of Social Counselling Department at Al Muntazir
Schools. He is an Islamic Religious Scholar who has studied Islamic Theology in
Iran. He is an Islamic Counsellor, Teacher and an Author.
The Chairman of the Central Board of Education, Mr. Imtiaz Lalji, Members of the
CBE Secretariat, Upanga West Ward Education Officer, Members of the School
Parent Association, Principals and Deputies of other Al Muntazir Schools were
also present during the occasion.
The program began with seeking the blessings of the Almighty with the recitation
of the Holy Quran and Dua e Hujjat followed by the National Anthem and the
National Song.
There were inspirational talks and advise given to the Graduates by the Guest of
Honour, Sheikh Shirazi and by Mr Joseph Mlinzi, the School SPA member.
As the Grade 7 Students reached the culmination of their Primary Education they
were awarded for their hard work and dedication towards their learning. The
Awards were under various categories- beginning from the Top Ten Achievers,
Toppers at each Grade Level, Special Awards- including Discipline, Community
Service, Extracurricular Activities, Academic Improvement, Subject Toppers,
Prefect and Leadership.
A group of Teachers were also awarded for completing their Online Cambridge
Training- Subject Based and on Assessment for Learning.
The Principal and Staff wish the very best to our students of Grade 7- Class of
2019. May they all have a Bright future so they May shine like the Sun!
