MY FAVOURITE CORNER

My favourite corner in the “Carmen de los Mártires” is the Big Tree that is 500 years old. Around it there are many beautiful trees and benches made of marble. It´s approximately 20 metres high.

It´s my favourite corner because it´s very beautiful and the grass is very green and soft and from this place you can see the birds flying and you can listen to the birds singing. It is a lovely place.

-In this photo you can see the Big Tree, Pedro, Francisco and Pablo.

My Favourite Corner

My favourite corner is a great place. It is called a Magnolio Tree. This tree is very tall and very thick. Around this tree there are a lot of plants and gardens. The environment is very nice and calm. In this photo you can see the Magnolio Tree and my friends Alvaro, Fran, Adrian, Pedro and me. We could see birds and insects that were very funny. The grass was very soft. The visit was very interesting and funny. I felt very well.

I chose this corner because I was impressed by the big tree. It was very nice and very interesting. I felt well and happy here.

Description .

This place was full of different types of trees, like palms, pines, etc. There was a big foun-

tain and four statues next to those trees, and you could smell the fragrance of nature. It was a

calm place where you can enjoy or be relaxed. Definitely it was an amazing site to visit.

Why is it my favourite place?

I chose this place because it is very calm and nice . When you see it you

think that you are in the forest with the comfortable sounds of nature. You can

be there without thinking about your problems. If you go there you must visit it.

MY FAVOURITE CORNER In the image we can see a avenue path in the “Carmen de los Mártires”. This avenue path is special because there are a lot of shrubs whit with flowers and threes. All the landscape is green and you can breathe fresh air.

Why did you choose it?

I chose this place because I love the nature. When I saw it I remembered a tale that my father told to me when I was a little girl. In this story I was a squirrel and I lived in a tree, so I imagined a scenery like this. Also, I love the avenue path because I think that it is a beautiful place to walk and think about something, especially in spring, when there are a lot of flowers, butterflies and birds and the weather is warm.

MY FAVOURITE CORNER

I like this place because it is so beautiful and it is like the tower of a castle. There is a small forest next to the tower, also there is a bridge but it was broken and around it, there is a lake with ducks. It is located in the centre of the gar-dens.Lidia Marín Martínez. 2º ESO B

This is a photo of my favorite place in the gardens of Carmen de los Mártires in Granada. Here you can see a big fountain; it is called the fountain of Felipe II. The fountain is surrounded by a lot of different trees and small gardens. In the corner of this small park you can find another fountain smaller than Felipe’s fountain and now without water.

WHY IS IT MY FAVORITE PLACE? Because here you can see beautiful views of the whole city of Granada and because this is a place where you can relax, listen to the birds singing… And in summer it mustn´t be a very hot place.

My Favourite Place: My favourite place is the medieval tower. The tower is very old and it has a bridge to go into it, but it’s broken and it’s dangerous to cross it. Around it there is a lake, in this lake there are ducks and there was a swan. The tower is in an artificial island with a lot off big trees. I chose this place because I think that it’s very strange, because as I said before it’s in an island.

Carmen of the martyrs

The Carmen of the Martyrs, located on the hill of The Alhambra, in the city of Granada, is a typical house in The Albaycin, with a lot of gardens. In the Carmen of the Martyrs it is neces-sary the presence of the water for the irrigation of its leafy gardens.

My favourite corner

This one is my favourite corner because I felt the nature quite close as we were surrounded by gardens. Being there with my friends made this place slightly unforgettable.

A Magnolio TreeMy favourite corner of the Carmen of the Mar-tyrs is a Magnolio Tree. It’s a very big tree with a length of 15m and it´s more than 400 years old. It’s my favourite corner because I love trees, and this is interesting and very beautiful too. It is amazing to see the leaves and the trunk, which is very rough and long. I hadn´t seen such big leaves before!(By Pedro Fernández)

THE FOUTAIN OF NEPTUNE

I chose this place because in my opinion it is the most beautiful place in the “Carmen de los Már-tires”. The fountain of Neptune is a fountain that is located in the main entrance of the Carmen. Around this fountain there are many different trees, but the most common tree in this place is the Magnolio Tree. On the top of the fountain there is a sculpture of the god Neptune. Also, in the square where this fountain is located there are many different sculptures of gods. And with the

solar light, the water of the fountain of Neptune has a very beautiful and special bright that convinced me to choose this place and made me think that my choice is the best.

MY FAVOURITE CORNER

My favourite place in the Carmen of the Martyrs is near a big and round fountain. Around the foun-tain there are a lot of tall trees. This place is very quiet and far away from other interesting places. To go there, there is a little brown way/path not very far from the medieval tower.

It’s my favourite corner because it is very quiet, and people don’t bother you there because it’s very far from other good places. I also like it very much because it is a wonderful place where you can hear the sounds of the birds and relax.

I liked very much the Carmen of the Martyrs; it was very nice, beautiful fun, and amazing. Syra Mª García López
